New thread required, old one full.

But is Leo still in the bin?

Was he meant to be beneath the other rubbish, which is why Michael said it smelled bad?

As regards Michael being framed for the murder, thank goodness sister Dee Dee, ace lawyer, has come in the nick of time to sort things out.

Obviously a job vacancy (Imran) for her to step into.

How convenient.

Grannynannywanny Thu 29-Sept-22 11:32:05

He moved the body from the bin to the factory van. It wasn’t discovered in the van so we’ve yet to find out where Leo’s body is now. I was hoping when Jenny dashed to the airport she’d find Steven at the check in desk holding Leo’s suitcase with a large label on it saying “This case belongs to Leo”

Aveline Thu 29-Sept-22 16:38:44

Oh poor Kirk! He's going to get a big fright when he sees the new cargo in the van.

JaneJudge Thu 29-Sept-22 18:28:59

Micheal Bailey is definitely getting the blame and the weird ex will turn up with the crazy eyes and take Glory

BlueBelle Thu 29-Sept-22 18:46:48

A body wouldn’t smell that bad in two days

Calendargirl Thu 29-Sept-22 18:53:54

I think the crazy ex has already been and taken Glory.

The little mite is never seen or mentioned nowadays, no one seems to be taking her to nursery or playing with her, which is strange as the whole family seemed to be heavily involved when the evil girlfriend was in the picture.

Now nobody gives the child a second thought it seems.

Is Alya pregnant? ( I mean the actress that plays Alya )

BlueBelle Fri 30-Sept-22 20:40:28

Corrie is really silly tonight ?
Yes I thought Alyia looked pregnant

Calendargirl Fri 30-Sept-22 20:45:33

As if that Dee Dee would swan in and start dealing with Stu’s case the day after she returned from LA. Are they paying her, or is she doing it for nothing?

The daft on/off romance between Dev and Bernie is cringe making.

As for smarmy Stephen always hanging round the Rovers….

And I still don’t know where Leo’s body is.

?‍♀️

Fancy having not just one lawyer but two, on the street where you live as well.
I have just finished dealing, and paying, the solicitor dealing with my late husband's estate. He died nearly three years ago, just before the first lockdown which was their excuse fr hold ups.
If I lived in Coronation Street the whole business would have all been dealt with in one day, lockdown or not.

Aveline Sat 01-Oct-22 11:58:55

Surely Adam could use a replacement for Imran? He could snap her up for his, er, not very busy legal practice up a grubby stair in a back street!

NotTooOld Sun 02-Oct-22 23:24:23

I also think Alya is pregnant. Aren't we eagle eyed? grin

So, thanks to Lily, James is going to leave the cobbles and become a football coach, despite saying only last week that he would never do that. I read that the actor who plays him is a trained dancer. Perhaps he should stick to dancing and give up the wooden acting.

Did Rita really say "Consign Leo t'dustbin?Brilliant.

Serendipity22 Mon 03-Oct-22 20:20:25

... and why is Yasmeen centre stage in the meet up with Stu and his granddaughter!!!!!!!

Calendargirl Mon 03-Oct-22 21:03:15

Oh, I’m sick of the Stu storyline. It’s obviously the hard-faced ex wife who dunnit.

Well, that’s James gone off in the Corrie leaving taxi. What a stroke of luck his new job is minutes away from his boyfriend.

We can but hope the rest of the Bailey clan (apart from Ronnie, who seems to survive on his wits) decide to upsticks and move to be near him.

vegansrock Mon 03-Oct-22 21:14:43

How come Jenny managed to get to A and E and be treated and back before the Quiz was over? Why didn’t she have a 12 hour wait like everyone else? I’m still waiting for an episode with no hospital scene.

Aveline Mon 03-Oct-22 21:37:07

Why doesn't Yasmeen et al use their Orangerie that was so expensively built a few years ago.
Also, how come James can just go off and coach kids without any sort of check? Eg up here he'd need PVG clearance. Oh well. It's Corrie.

Grannynannywanny Mon 03-Oct-22 21:44:15

I’m back to thinking the same as I did a few months ago. Either Stu’s daughter murdered his girlfriend and the mother is covering for her or vice versa. Either way I just wish it would reach a conclusion as it’s beyond ridiculous now. Just when the storyline couldn’t get any more far fetched Yasmin stops creepy Steven in the street and casually asks him for a loan.

Go on Yasmin, give him your bank account details and see what happens !

I have not seen a couple more unsuited than Dev & Bernie. He is pretentious and a snob, no way will he be taking Bernie to meet his friends at the golf club.

Doodledog Mon 03-Oct-22 21:49:17

Some excellent points on this page?.

I hope the Stu and Stephen storylines are over soon so we can have something believably exciting for Christmas.

BlueBelle Mon 03-Oct-22 21:50:04

And how come he s got somewhere to live down there got a job in London and a home in London in one day and of course there’s no trains on strike and off he goes is he going all the way by taxi they seem to have a train station just round the corner ???
Tonight s episode was pretty silly in all ways I felt sick when Dev and thingy got together and the Mary Ken Wendy scene was pretty dire… oh why do I watch ?

lemsip Mon 03-Oct-22 22:12:47

Oh I like dev and bernie together, wonder what'll happen when he meets her 'look alike'.
sick of yazmeen and alya

Dev will fall for the sister/twin, Fern, is that her name?

She would fit in at the golf club so much better.

Either that or they will swap dates, unbeknown to Dev, who is too gormless to spot the difference.

Huge hilarity to follow I can predict (not).

Franbern Tue 04-Oct-22 08:42:47

Wow!!! So a coaching job, with NO coaching training or qualifications. No Child Protection training, no police checks. Think the FA will not be happy with this story line - likely to concern parents. All arranged in a few hours, new job, start date, housing, etc. etc. Oh, to live in Soapland - as well as attending A&E with a very minor injury and being seen, x-rayed and treated within an hour!!!

Rosina Tue 04-Oct-22 09:22:48

What has happened to the Toyah/Spider storyline - have I missed something? There was surely an emerging build up to his being discovered, as he was meeting the senior policewoman in an alleyway in view of most of the street's residents. There must be another huge blow with tears and heartbreak for Toyah. (Like Gary, I have no idea how she has managed to weather so much disaster and stress, so often, without a complete meltdown.)
