‘The Rising’ - Sky Thriller with Supernatural twist. Highly recommended

Just started watching this. Are Joseph and Max from Corrie related they look very alike?

It’s an adaptation of the Belgian thriller `Hotel Beau Sejour'. I’m hoping to find this series somewhere. It was a Walter Presents series in 2019, perhaps it’s been transferred to Netflix or Amazon. There were 2 series of the original made, perhaps they will make another series with a different storyline.

Is this on the regular Sky channels or Sky Atlantic? We have Virgin so can’t get Sky Atlantic.

10 mins into the final episode last night and my tv lost the broadband connection. Too late to sort it then so will finish it tonight but it was so frustrating as it is one of the best things we have watched for ages

I binge watched this over two nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. It’s set in the Lake District, so has stunning views. A young girl who has been murdered tries to find out who has killed her. There are twists and turns in every episode and some excellent well-known actors are in it. It did keep me guessing until the end. Highly recommended.
