Wagon Train, Bonanza, Rawhide, Cheyenne and Sugar Foot were all favourites in our house. Also The Clampetts.

Kate I have seen Bonanza on some channel, but can’t remember which. Beverly Hillbillies and Petticoat Junction are currently on Spotlight TV. They are showing from the beginning, so slightly grainy black and white, but the Clampetts are still very funny. I also found The Goodies and The Mrs Merton Show (I had forgotten how funny and irreverent Caroline Aherne was in this) on a channel called That’s TV.

I was scrolling and saw them, so recorded them to watch when there was nothing else on. We do have Sky but there must be some new channels on Freeview possibly.

For children, the Muppets, although I understand Fraggle Rock is making a comeback.
I bet we can all sing the theme tunes to those two!

They spawned quite a few series such as Steptoe and son.

I loved The Generation Game with ol' Bruce Forsyth.
It was great to see the expert - and then watch the contestants have a go - hilarious!

I used to like the Onedin Line when we lived in the uk in 1960s. My mum used to like Dick Emery and Benny Hill though I suspect both would be politically incorrect these days.

We love the old shows that pop up on streaming sites. I would love some of the dramas and plays that the BBC did so well. Some favourites were Howard's Way, The Pallisers, Forsyte Saga, Barchester Chronicles, the Aykbourn plays, Horseman Riding By, Pin to see the Peepshow, Madame Bovary. I could go on the and on. Streaming services are expensive but there is nothing much on terrestrial TV that we enjoy.

I wonder how Emergency Ward Ten would look now compared to Holby City.
Compact was quite good.
Four Feather Falls was my favourite.
