Who else watched this new Channel 4 drama last night, starring James Nesbitt? I was underwhelmed, probably not helped by the fact that a) I’m not JN’s biggest fan and b) I was feeling weary and nodded off half way through.

It carries on over the next 3 nights, but I shall be watching Sherwood tonight and tomorrow. Not sure if I will bother with any more episodes of Suspect, tbh, unless anyone says it is really good.

Quite enjoyed it so far but as with most things had to turn volume up +3 to hear what they were saying including James Nesbitt.

Farzanah we obviously like similar things. We started watching Series 4 of Spiral last night, and then watched Sherwood. Another series we liked very much was the Danish series The Bridge. There are four series and it’s well worth the watch.

I have watched this but skipped through a lot of it. The story line was too fanciful for me and I don’t rate James Nesbitt as an actor. Despite what should have been a strong cast with Richard E Grant and Anne-Marie Duff, for me it compared very unfavourably with Sherwood.

I thought it was awful! I am quite a fan of James Nesbitt so downloaded it to binge watch this weekend as family are away camping. I stuck it out for 35mins so know where he got the keys for his daughter's flat but after that I decided enough is enough - disappointed as I like a good drama. Glad Sherwood stepped up to the plate as thoroughly enjoying it but then taste is a personal thing.

Try "The Hours" on Prime for a gripping drama instead.
