Late to the party here , recorded it as I knew I wouldn’t be able to see it to the end last night , loving it Paul is still superb George was “the one” though and I love the drummer ! Cried at Blackbird as we played it at DH’s funeral but such great times remembered .

The crowd are loving it though!

The backing singers are great ?

DanniRae Sun 26-Jun-22 19:07:48

Yes I agree! I have just turned it off.
I said to Mr R I can imagine that huge crowd gradually disappearing until there are just a few people left .... shock

Zoejory Sun 26-Jun-22 19:11:05

I'm loving Diana! Turned up loud and I'm singing along. Best act yet!

Callistemon21 Sun 26-Jun-22 19:14:17

I'm enjoying it, remembering those songs.
She kept her promise to appear at Glastonbury

The BBC "live" programme was an hour later than the live performance.

I hope the Pet Shop Boys are on iPlayer.

Kandinsky

Diana Ross is awful.

Totally agree, she’s flat in places. Time to call it a day.

Sara1954 Sun 26-Jun-22 19:31:19

I’m not a Diana fan, but I think it’s pretty bad

Callistemon21 Sun 26-Jun-22 19:40:56

She is off key.

No matter - they're all enjoying themselves ?

Hiraeth Sun 26-Jun-22 19:43:10

Diana Ross at Glastonbury at 78 years of age still performing . She’s loving every minute of it .A perfect „ Diva“

Sara1954 Sun 26-Jun-22 19:50:18

I just enjoy watching the crowd, great that it’s stayed dry

Mrst1405 Sun 26-Jun-22 19:50:37

Diana Ross is just awful. I notice no close shots. Is she miming or singing over a track?
Not a Macaca fan but he was very good.

Sara1954 Sun 26-Jun-22 19:52:02

My husband just poked his head around the door to ask what awful racket I was listening to

Sara1954 Sun 26-Jun-22 19:54:02

I keep worrying she’s going to trip over

silverlining48 Sun 26-Jun-22 19:55:08

Always liked Motown and Diana Ross in particular. Many happy memories of dancing the night away to her music at parties in the 60s
Haven't heard her at Glastonbury, but she was very disappointing at the jubilee. There were times i thought she might be miming. I worried she woukd trip over her outfit ( and maybe break a hip, in which case she could join our ever expanding hip hop group).

Lyndylou Sun 26-Jun-22 19:55:44

"I will survive" she seems to have finally got into her stride at the last song, oh no that's the backing singers!

J52 Sun 26-Jun-22 19:55:54

I keep worrying she’s going to trip over

So do I.
The backing group are carrying the songs.

We're over on today's Cricket - that's how desperate we are here!

Callistemon21 Sun 26-Jun-22 19:59:39

It's stage presence and charisma and the crowd are loving it
