So disappointed after 20 years just dumped on a phone call. It didn’t portray the strong character I used to liked.

There are two more books after this one but apparently there are no plans to film them.

Well now I'm going to have to read the final two books to find out if this is really the end for Salvo and Livia.

So disappointing! I never liked Livia - thought life for Montalbano would have been much more fun with Ingrid - but to dump her with a phone call for someone he'd hardly met who was almost young enough to be his granddaughter???? Ruined the whole thing for me.

I have to say, I always had a soft spot for Ingrid, and her car even more so!

I love Montalbano normally but what a stupid story line to finish on nd so out of character for Salvo

Do read the books they are so much better than the TV version.
