Also Something Rhymes with purple. Giles Brandreth and Susie Dent. Talking about words new and old, interesting and Giles always has a story.

I thankfully found this program for listening to. I use it for going to sleep because it is nice easy listening. I listen to the ones from a few years ago as the radio has got too grim for me since February.

The Rest is Politics for insights into political processes and a good rant about BJ.

As someone said up-thread, Off Menu with James Acaster and Ed Gamble is well worth a listen. They ‘run’ the Dream Restaurant and each week interview someone about their dream menu, drinks, still or sparkling water etc. I listened to it for the first time yesterday, where they interviewed Rob Bryden and just loved it! They’ve been going for quite a while so there’s plenty of choice of interviewee. Enjoy.

And now I see that Marian Meyes has done the same!
I love Marian too, I could listen to her all day.
And I’m forever indebted to her, as her books ‘Watermelon’ and ‘Rachel’s Holiday’ got me through the weeks directly following the death of my Mom.
(Sorry, I do ramble don’t I!)
