Think it's in cinemas towards the end of Spetember

Looks an easy watch film, think I may take myself off to the Flicks one afternoon with my Haribos (they don't make a noise when you eat them)

I went to see ‘ Mrs Harris’ yesterday evening with DD2.
We both enjoyed it. Yes , it was rather sweet and corny but easy to watch. Certainly a relief from watching the news these days

Lindiann, I watched that version, with Angela Lansbury and Omar Sharrif, last month when I was housebound with Covid.
Lovely, light hearted film, perfect viewing when you need cheered up!

We have booked to see it at our library theatre. I too read the book a million years ago! I rarely go to the cinema these days as I cannot cope with the loud soundtracks so am hoping this might be not too noisy.

There's quite a lot of music in the film Gin but nothing like a Broadway musical and not noisy. It's all quite gentle and comforting, and there were a few French pieces (one nice one by Jacques Brel and sung by Juliette Grécco). I think you coulding probably listen to the Doune track online before you ho if that helps.

I think you could probably listen to the sound track before you go.
Sorry I'm eating cake with my tea and the words came out wrong! ?
