I’m a bit behind on the episodes living in Canada but can someone tell me who this Jackson is? I seem to remember a married couple adopted Faye’s baby and went off to Australia. So how come Jackson has returned to the cobbles with the now older child? Where is the adopted mother? I’m very confused🤔

You’re getting confused. The adopted children who went off to Australia were Abby’s, back in her druggy days. She wasn’t fit to look after them, so they were adopted and the family went to Oz.

Jackson is the teenage father of Miley, who Faye had when about 13. His family took Miley on, and moved abroad.

Now they seem to be back, and Jackson is keen to get back with Faye and be a ‘proper’ family to their daughter.

I was surprised to see Carla as Ryan's loving aunt. I doubt I've ever seen them even speak to each other before. I suppose the relationship is pretty tenuous. She was married to his uncle if Ryan was really Michelle's son and not the one swapped at birth. Hmmmm. So confusing in Weatherfield.

Carla made a quick recovery during her brief stay in the mental health unit. Now she’s 100% back to normal and no mention of what could possibly have been wrong with her despite the fact her symptoms rapidly subsided once she was admitted.

I’ve reached the stage of being unable to keep up with so many unfinished storylines. My theory for what it's worth, I think that Stephen's tie pin will be found in Rufus' swimming pool, there has to be a reason that Jenny mentioned it in the Rovers something about it being loose. I really hope that I am right, would like to see the back of him.
