We have a new reality show starting on BBC1 Tues night called The Traitors which looks quite interesting. I will definitely give it a try. I notice they are starting it just as I'm a Celeb..... has ended. 😉

Loved their faces when Amanda announced she was a traitor! Poor Aaron will never trust his judgement again as he totally believed she was a faithful. He has remained in the game because he is basically no threat, but I can't see him winning. He is my favourite now, but last night I found his skin tight pin stripe trousers really annoying. Either have no stipes or get a size larger!

Will Kieran accept the seduction and then stab Wilfred in the back (metaphorically)?

NanaAng14 Wed 21-Dec-22 09:35:05

I would like Hannah to win , the first night she was quite loud but I've really warmed to her

The plot thickens!! (Don't want to write too much, in case it's seen as a spoiler alert!)

Amanda is my favourite and I really thought she had it in the bag until that fatal mistake. I think she may have blown it. My second favourite is Aaron. Yes I know he cried but he has also impressed me once or twice on the challenges being quite resourceful and brave. For a 24 year old he is fairly sensible.

For some reason I'm not keen on Andrea, she just seems a bit needy and doesn't seem to contribute, just hangs onto the others.

Doodledog Mon 19-Dec-22 11:12:17

I don't mind if Wilf wins. I don't want Maddie to win, but I'm not really sure why, other than her persistent going on about Wilf.

I like Andrea, but don't think that either she or Faye is likely to win. I can't remember any of the others off the top of my head.

Aveline Mon 19-Dec-22 11:11:17

I want Andrea and Wilf to win. I bet they'd share the prize money with the last faithfuls though.

BlueBelle Mon 19-Dec-22 11:01:57

Yes Amanda made a bad move I don’t want Wilf to win though
Perhaps it’s all a con and Andrea, the most unlikely, will win

aquagran Mon 19-Dec-22 10:47:38

Looks like Amanda has blown it! Getting a bit edgy now!

If the spoilers came at the end of the last episode then just do what I ALWAYS do and that is stop the recording or the playing of the programme as soon as the 'next time' message appears. I am ready with the stop button every time. If you can't stop it playing then at least hit the mute button and look away.

'Next time....' is so annoying on every programme. I have been cancelling them for the last 15 years at least. I do not want to see what is on next time, I want to enjoy it when I see it.

Yes Amanda spoiled her record by choosing Theo. She’s made people suspicious. Bad move Amanda but can’t wait till next week.

Doodledog Sun 18-Dec-22 17:03:21

Yes, that was a strange move. It will work against her, I'm sure. She was in with a good chance until then.

marshmarigold132 Sun 18-Dec-22 17:00:59

I think people are now going to be suspicious of Amanda. She picked Theo as her 100% trusted then voted him out! I’ll be surprised if others don’t start to vote for her.

Thanks for not putting spoilers on here kissngate

I don’t know who will win - it still seems wide open to me.

Oh no, how could the BBC have done that?

The BBC have spoiled the show for me. They showed spoilers last weekend which identified the final few so knew by Tuesday who was left for final week and possibly final episode. Ruined last weeks round table and traitor murders. Thanks BBC 😡

^So poor men have listened and cottoned on ‘oh it’s ok to show emotion’ ‘we don’t have to have a stiff upper lip’^
I agree men should allow their emotions through in real life, although we don't want them blubbing at any little thing. It's knowing where to draw the line.

But sobbing like Kieran did when Amos was murdered is ridiculous. He had only known him a couple of days and he was only out of the game. He hadn't died in real life. To see a mature man sobbing over something so trivial was rather feeble.

I said the same thing - Amos wasn't actually "murdered"! A complete over reaction - even though it must be a stressful time to be in the series.

The good news is that its back on Tuesday! Not sure how the ending works either...

Only two more episodes and 11 contestants. Maybe more than two eliminated each day (one murdered and one banished).

Chestnut Sun 18-Dec-22 09:45:28

Sobbing on any reality show annoys me, but I suppose things can get very intense in a game like this.

I don't think we will end up with two, and one to murder the other. I think the final round will be more interesting than that. They must have thought of a way to eliminate a smaller group without giving away the identity of the traitors. I have no idea what that will be!

We have to wait until Wednesday for the next episode which is far too long for something like this. They need to have them closer together like I'm a celeb.....

Doodledog Sun 18-Dec-22 08:50:40

No, I agree, BlueBelle. I’m an equal opportunities grump grin. I don’t care which sex is wailing - I think it’s an overreaction on a game show. Actually the squealing is worse, really.

BlueBelle Sun 18-Dec-22 08:39:27

Makes me laugh for years and years we ve been going on and on about ‘men should show their emotions more’ ‘women are the strong ones’ ‘ crying is good for you realesses the pent up emotions’’that’s why men die young’ blah blah blah

So poor men have listened and cottoned on ‘oh it’s ok to show emotion’ ‘we don’t have to have a stiff upper lip’

And now they are decried as weak …poor buggers can’t win can they 🤣🤣🤣

Doodledog Sun 18-Dec-22 08:29:45

Oh. I didn’t realise that. Usually these things are a fight to the death, although I don’t know how they would eliminate someone if there were two left.

I’ll have to listen more carefully to the voiceover at the beginning next time.

Aveline Sun 18-Dec-22 07:26:55

I don't know that only one person could win. If the last traitors or the last faithfuls win they could share. They were talking about that. Maddy risked her £3000 offer for the chance of a share in the final amount.

Well Wilfred is turning into a snake in the grass. However, I suspect that Amanda has the measure of him. I wish that Maddy was gone as her rabbiting on annoys me.

The thing is, though, that in the last episode someone is going to have to betray whoever is left - there is only one winner. So if it gets to the end and there are just Wilfred and Amanda left, she will have to be just as snakey as him, or lose.

That's the beauty of it, I think. I dislike treacherous people on other reality things, but there was no choice for the traitors, so I'm rooting for both of them, as I will probably do if others join them. Maddie is my least favourite - I'd like her to go next.
