Just that really...such an interesting lively/hot threaded debate shock..smile

Yes it was good wasn't it Bea and provided lots of information for those of us who didn't watchsmile.

Casdon Fri 16-Dec-22 16:33:12

And there was me thinking it was Eugenie who was Harry’s friend rather than you Bea!

It's good to let the bees out of our bonnets occasionally 🙂

Oh goodie!
I watched and I thought it was well crafted. It obviously played to Meghan's strengths, she is very attractive, articulate and a good actress. I actually think Harry is very happy now, he said something near the end .... along the lines of he didn't want Archie to grow up from his childhood world because then all life's worries would come along. Harry would do well to reflect on that statement, and if that is how he would like his world to be just stop whinging and stirring up ongoing trouble with the RF. Otherwise he will never find peace.

The photograph of seventeen members of the royal family gathered at Westminster Abbey for the carol service yesterday is the perfect riposte.

FannyCornforth Fri 16-Dec-22 17:15:32

No more for me now.
It’s clear that they are keeping the real news off the front page

I wonder how M & H's children will feel when they are older and have a greater understanding of the family dynamics. Yes the carol service at Westminster Abbey was the perfect antidote.

I was surprised today and put Loose Women on. I thought they should be impartial, but the whole panel have turned into M and H followers, we are supposed to just listen to that are we.I was offended by it as I don’t like the couple or what they have done. I switched it off as it’s not my take on things.

As an antidote you should have looked at the MN threads on M&H, they don’t hold back 😱

I refer you to my post above. Young women are the majority on MN. They are worse than anything you’ve read on here.

Did you watch it paddyann54? It filled in a lot of information.
I have never bitched about this couple, but have enjoyed discussions on here.

Calendargirl Fri 16-Dec-22 17:45:50

paddyann must be an old biddy also, seeing as she is on GN.

Probably doesn’t see herself as one though.

The thing is like lots of people, Harry and Meghan have no scruples when it comes to making money, for them trashing their family makes Megga bucks, after all what else have they to sell? Anything to do with the RF will make money, writing about them, documentaries about them, photographing them, often by people who thoroughly disapprove of them, but, money soon overrides any feelings of 'conscience, so why would H & M be any different?

Kim19 Fri 16-Dec-22 18:08:15

Does anyone have any sort of link to the Westminster Abbey carol service, p!ease?

Grany Fri 16-Dec-22 18:12:24

I think it was a good documentary and gave their side of story.

All the palaces do brief to the press so all very undignified

I can't imagine what the children will say 18 years from now. I don't think I'll be around to read about that! Will they feel supportive of their parents or completely disgusted with them? I guess they will have been endlessly told H&M's side of the story by then, and the idea of their private lives being portrayed for the whole world to see might not faze them. Who knows? It is fast turning into a very different world from the one we knew even 20 years ago so maybe they will find it all perfectly normal.

Bea65 Fri 16-Dec-22 18:57:50

Learnt today that the Royal Correspondents (Journalists) are on a rota for RF and only one from these groups of Press are allocated to be present/record events etc and they Share info...is this fact or ??

Lucca Fri 16-Dec-22 19:07:30

So is this a new Netflix H an M thread? Let’s change the record. record please. Or we could maybe turn it into some kind of bingo game ?

Quite.

I'm just wondering why anyone would think it is OK for tabloid newspapers to post photos and write accounts of someone's every move, but think it is wrong if those people choose to tell their own story?

I thought there were some interesting accounts of what really happened. Like the first photos of Archie not taken on the hospital steps like most Royal babies, not because Meghan was fussy but because he was born in a different hospital.
