She has morphed from being the abandoned wife of her philandering first husband, to the coerced clutches of the villainous Geoff. She appears to be happy enough with Stu, (previous ex naval chef, victim of unjust murder charge, detained wrongly for years at HM’s pleasure, homeless, but taken in by Yas and family), and now seems to be seen frequently in the company of Roy Cropper, much to Evelyn’s displeasure, pursuing joint cultural interests.
I find Yasmeen really irritating. She is a hopeless actress and despite her 'interesting' life she has no real personality. We don't know what she thinks about anything, her likes and dislikes or much at all, really. She hasn't developed as a character at all, although she has been around for ages. The same is true of Alya too, I think.
I think you might be right about Dee Dee and Adam, Charleygirl. She needs a love interest, and they would have a lot more in common than Adam and Sarah. As Dee Dee is a lawyer, he could leave, though. There is usually only one representative of any profession on the street at a time (apart from people working in catering, that is
).
Who runs the Bookie's now? Is it Peter?
