It’s quite clear from his actions so far that the young man doesn’t intend to pursue that line though. I get the impression he told his lawyers to confirm the affair because there were so many rumours that it needs to be out there officially so he can get on with the rest of his life. He is the victim in more ways than one in my opinion.

This could morph into something different I think. The Schofield story will run its course, but the bigger issue may turn out to be the bullying culture, the stitch up by certain celebrities of the big gigs, and the cover ups that have been going on at ITV by the look of it. One thing I am glad about is that this isn’t the BBC, as if it was the government would be having a field day.

You know I have. I’ve replied to your comments already. I’ve also said that it’s odd for two brothers from the same family to be grooming teenage boys. Because I said that and agreed with what you said I was told I was orchestrating a witch hunt.
Are we? Or is it a good time to bring this to a widespread audience so that, as Casdon has just said, there’s more to it than previously thought. If so, they all need exposing.

And also, Holly Willoughby husband is described as a tv executive. Surely, he would also have heard the rumours. She knew.

Holly is married to the producer Dan Baldwin who produces Celebrity Juice (which is presumably the reason why Holly appears on the ghastly show).

Holly Willoughby left Celebrity Juice in May 2020 she was replaced by Paddy McGuinness.

Whilst the (newspaper) media have this celebrity scandal on which to report, and for people to talk about - then people's minds are taken away froim the real disgusting scandals of the Cost ofLiving, etc.

Yes I can manage to think about government policy and safeguarding issues at the same time. My job involves safeguarding and I am involved in the labour party, I really dont think I am unique.
Also I am quite grateful for the media role in this.

Seems to me it was the "A listers" who may have triggered things.

Could it be that the 'inappropriate' nature of the relationship is perhaps that this young man got his break because of his 'friendship' with PS, rather than the fact that they were involved in a consensual sexual relationship?

How many famous ppl have you met at school and give you a job on a few shows few years later and took you to loads of parties etc. when you’re got money you can hush hush things. Ppl definitely knew and all kept their mouths shut. Just wait for this kid to do his tell all and she was also with them so this I knew nothing doesn’t wash with me

It has probably been said on here but this is reminiscent of the witch hunt initiated by completely unsubstantiated accusations from self-proclaimed 'survivors' against prominent men such as Edward Heath Harvey Proctor and Leon Brittan.

Philip Schofield's relationship, whilst immoral as he was married, was between two consenting adults and was not illegal. It is not for the presenters of a TV programme to make public their opinion of his actions in such a way that it feeds unpleasant speculation and innuendo until relevant information, if there is any, is released.

People definitely knew what Nannashirlz? Knew what we know that PS met him when he was a minor, befriended him and helped him with his career? Because that's all we know unless and until evidence shows otherwise.
