I remember once me and my best friend wondered around the empty main stage very early on the Monday morning, and we found lots of money scattered around.
At least £50 +

There were lots fake notes too, we reckoned that that was what dealers used to give out as change.

I don't understand why there were volunteers picking up litter at Glastonbury. They made enough money to pay professionals to do it. Surely the volunteers time would be better spent helping people less fortunate.

Elton John was fab. He exceeded my expectations. He did an open air concert near us a few years ago. The general consensus at the time was that he was just going through the motions and didn't really engage with the audience. Glad he upped his game for Glastonbury.
We went to an open air concert just a few years ago too PinkCosmos, part of his "final" Australian tour, and he was just as good as he was at Glastonbury, engaging with the audience, playing non-stop for two hours..

What i am saying is....she didn't mention taking any litter home ...which was your implication .....just personal belongings... litter is fine to put in the Glastonbury bins .....I think you need a few days chilling at a festival....or are you just one of those people that likes to pick an argument? ...anyway, I'm done on this thread......my Glastonbury 2023 is done ....and I need some zzzz's before work tomorrow .....Best you find someone else to 'argue the toss' with 🙄

I am not wrong 🙄.... they provide bins...absolutely thousands of them....big metal drum bins, all beautifully hand painted by a team of artists ....and they provide both green and black bin bags ....all for the litter....' leave no trace' means take home your tent, sleeping bag, chair and any other camping or personal belongings ....ive been going for many many years and no one expects you to take litter home...thats what those beautiful bins are for

I didn't think Elton was any good,in fact he was dire on some songs .Cat Stevens/Yusuf was far superior and in the same age range ...and he looked human too unlike Elton who was an unholy mess.
Rick Astleys set was excellent as were the Manics, James just gets better with age looks wise as well as his performance .
We liked a lot of the new bands ,made a list of some to buy

I was disappointed with the Arctic Monkeys and Guns n Roses. Not that I'm a massive fan anyway.

Blondie suffered from poor sound. I could hardly hear Debbie Harry. She is 78!

Yusaf / Cat Steven was really good. He is one of the few older ones who doesn't seem to have lost his voice.

Christine and the Queens is a favourite of mine. She was very intense.

I think most of the individual concerts are on BBC I Player.

foxie apparently she was 30 minutes late, had her hair and makeup done on stage and had to have her mic switched off.
She tried to carry on with her set in the crowd

Has anyone found Lana Del Rey's set? I'd love to watch it but it doesn't seem to be available anywhere. I've got Elton recorded for a binge watch session as I couldn't watch it last night.
