I agree Novak was gracious in defeat. It must be hard to lose to such a young man after six (is it six?) wins.
Alcaraz will be on our screens for a few years yet I think. How lovely for him that the king of Spain came especially to watch him.

Callistemon the Ferraro Rocher cake was delicious, but as you said, no doubt extremely calorific. I think I got the price wrong, I forgot to add in the M+S version of Nutella, at a further £4.50 so I think it cost about £16 to make. I won’t be making it again soon whatever my dear grandson says 😂 But it was a worthy addition to our barbecue on Wimbledon final day.
