It could be Joy. She’s popping up everywhere at the moment! 😂

They were pushing their luck that the police did not arrive before George as he would have done a runner.

Bated breath for tonight. George could still do a runner. I don’t believe the police would have been that quick off the mark.

It could be if it was Harrison, he doesn't live far away!

Well that was nail biting and good acting. We must hope for a reconciliation for Emur, bur we’ve all been saying she was wrong to keep it hidden!

Mia was lovely as usual.

What a SHOUTY episode, eh?

This storyline will be milked for all it's worth up to Christmas and beyond - all the legal bits and bobs will drag on and on, Squire Aldridge will go off like a volcanoe and then......George will have a brainstorm and say he's made it all up and Alice was driving after all. Really.

This has the potential to establish a three-way feud between the Grundy's, Carter's and Aldridge's that will keep the SW's busy for the next few generations. At least.

I’ve now heard Thursdays episode - vintage Archers, good script writing, excellent acting.
I haven’t heard the Friday cliffhanger but looking forward to it. The Archers is my only soap. I’ve enjoyed to for 54 years. I’ve had times when I stop listening regularly but story lines like this are quality

I'm on holiday and can't really listen while I'm away so I haven't heard it since Tuesday. There's going to be a catching-up binge when I get home next weekend!

I'm glad that its come out at last, I was worried it might never. Well...a lot more high drama to come!

I thought Susan was very good with Alice.

At last. I agree, Susan and Alice were very good as was Chris initially - especially with Alice.

The Chris/Emma bit was not so tight.

I'm still wondering about Chris and Alice getting together again... (unlikely in real life, I know) .

I wondered that too, I'd really like it.

I suspect a few of us believe Alice and Chris could make a go of their relationship second time around. They’re older, wiser, he’s been a great support to Alice in co-parenting Martha with genuine desire to support Alice as a mum because that’s best for their little girl

So true Iam - but doubt it would happen in real life...

Though having said that - I do know a couple where it did!

Just heard last night's episode, as I'm on holiday too.. Thank goodness for BBC sounds.
It was a goody... Not sure Chris and Alice will make it but the relationship will be fine as joint parents.
Agree Chris and Emma section was a bit restrained, surprised Chris didn't go more at his sister.

Emma and Will need to be charged for withholding information. There needs to be a bigger impact on their lives caused by George.

Brian will go ballistic, Harrison reaction that's going to be interesting?
