Just watched it on catch up, and it was so moving. Such a shame it clashed with the Rugby and Strictly- as so many missed it.

Do watch it if you can.

That is heart-breaking Fleurpepper. So unfair on both doctor and patient. What a heroic thing to do knowing what the consequences would be.

She was finally cleared, as everyone in her family and her doctor, vouched for the fact this is exactly what she wanted, and that the Doctor acted in an act of the outmost compassion. But it took a huge toll on her (she died soon after).

The unfairness of the lack of medically assisted dying in Britain is that most can't afford the £12,000 for Dignitas.

We don't have medically assisted dying because of the C of E
bishops in the House of Lords vote against the pro vote from the Commons
