I thought it was just the one episode now with a wait fir the rest.

I think it’s four episodes now, with another four episodes in the New Year.

Part two December 14th.

I’m a bit disappointed the weather forecast’s good for tomorrow. It makes it that bit harder for me to justify the binge session I just know I’m going to have.

The reviews are poor.

Apparently Diana appears as a ghost!

Watched the first 4 episodes last night. Think the final part is in December,

I've never watched this. Not overly keen on dramas about living people

Nor I, Louella12 - but lots of people like this series it seems.

Splendidly acted and excellent cinematography.

The "ghost" scenes seemed intrusive to start with - but I saw them more as a way of imagining Charles' thought processes - not an artistic device that I would have used but a valid one.

Surely it’s brutal, there are two sons, 3 siblings who will know genuine grief over her death not ‘your country needs you’ rubbish

I've watched the first episode and enjoyed it. It's beautifully filmed. The actors playing Dodi and Mohammed look very similar.

.... I mean very similar to the characters they are playing.

I think I enjoyed the earlier series more than the last one not sure why.
Agree with lucky girl that the Diana sequences with Charles etc were his own thoughts.
I hope our Netflix (on the back of family members) lasts until the final part of this classy series.

Can you please tell me how you accessed this before the advertised date of December? We watched the first 4 which were based on King George’s death and the abdication etc etc. Do you live in America or do you pay for a higherNetflix subscription?

The first 4 episodes of the latest Series were released yesterday (16 November)
I watched the first two last night and thought they had got Mohammed al Fayed to a “T”.

Series 6 the first four episodes started November 16th Lovetopaint and the second part of series 6 start December 14th.
I bought a Netflix card from Tesco and it will last me for three months. I watch on my iPad.

I rarely binge watch, but have done it today. I really enjoyed the four new episodes (and yes, I appreciate much of it’s to be taken with a pinch of salt). I thought the acting and general production were excellent, and the “ghost” sequences worked much better than I expected.

I just hope, like silverlining, that I can still use DS’s Amazon account when the rest of the series is available.

Ours is off and on Maggie, thought we were excluded weeks ago. Then we tried again and ureka, all was well and another time we are off it again.

Oh, right, I’ll keep my fingers crossed then. I’d contacted DS to ask him to add us as an extra user (I think it’s £5 a month?), and it was him who asked me to check as he thought we could still use it.

We’ve never used it for anything else, but I did get sucked in to the first episode of Beckham after my Crownfest.

My name was mud one day with the DGS when they wanted to watch something and got the “Maggie is watching The Crown” message for 3 solid hours. DS and DDIL didn’t want to disturb my viewing!
