Nigel Farage on I'm a Celeb etc (sorry forgotten the name of the show)
I've never watched it before, and I dont know any of the other contestants, but could be fun.
No doubt he will be given the most gruesome challenges.🤣

Haha, I knew a thread would appear on here at some point about this.
I often watch some of this, but don’t normally watch every episode it goes on rather a long time.
Anyway I’ll definitely be watching. I need to watch tonight as I don’t have a clue who the other celebrities are, so not sure that they really are celebrities. So I’ll watch tonight and probably mostly watch after that. I’m looking forward to seeing Nigel Farage and how he copes in the jungle and with the other celebrities people.
I missed it last year as we were in New Zealand with our daughter, so no idea who was in it or who won. So it’s two years since I watched it.

I'll do the same as you maddyone and pay attention to the first episode, as I don't know anyone in it either.

I'm hoping it will cheer up a dark evening with a little gossipy fun smile.

I know I'd hate being there. grin

There are certain programmes I watch just so I can discuss them with my family who enjoy them. It always helps if people like Boy George, Matt Cockwomble (as DSiL calls him) and Nigel Farage take part because most of the time I haven’t a clue who anyone is.

I loathe the eating trials but enjoy appearances by people I’d like to know a little more about like Mike Tindall.

Apparently Sarah Ferguson was in the running this year but she turned it down when they couldn’t guarantee that nobody would ask questions about Prince Andrew.

🤣🤣🤣🤣

I'll be watching.

I also rather like Nigel. Maybe not a fan of his politics but he'll be entertaining.

I agree, I think he will be entertaining.

Urmstongran Sun 19-Nov-23 17:35:31

I like Farage I think he speaks a lot of sense and knows a good deal more than most of us how the EU works - but as I’ve never watched this programme before I shan’t be bothering now, just because he’s in it.

Would she have been fit enough after her op I wonder?

People would definitely ask about PA and I think H&M.

Cockwomblegringrin life has lost a lot of fun in recent years.

I watch it every year 😂- easy watch and light relief, although I must say i enjoy it even more, if they have a few squabbles 😂

You'r right about his experience of the EU Urmstongran

I might even vote not just watch, couldn't you be tempted, considering you quite like him?

I doubt very much that Farage is the world’s most hated man. He’s not that significant.

And no, I won’t, but then I’ve never watched the programme.

I'm not sure if they've heard of him in Australia 😁

I like Nigel Farage he talks common sense

I find such a comment so incredible. What is 'common sense' in this context?

NO, I won't be watching.

I probably haven't heard of any of them except Farage and Alex Weatherman who is apparently in the Jungle this year.

Just like Strictly, merlotgran, I've only heard of two or three of them!

No

I'll be watching smile
I've just read this on Yahoo news though. Nigel Farage has revealed that his health issues will prevent him from taking part in certain Bushtucker Trials during his upcoming stint on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here.

Apparently he negotiated smoke breaks off camera🤣🤣
They must have wanted him pretty badly.

Apparently he negotiated smoke breaks off camera 🤣🤣

You have to be kidding me 😲
Out bush (well, supposedly) and the bushfires have already started early this year. I do hope someone is watching him to make sure he doesn't start another one.

You might well get a few fireworks, considering how controversial NF is. He can be very considerate and polite, but I don't think he takes any prisoners smile

I can't imagine he will be left to his own devices do you Callistemon ?

Is it possible to cheat in some way off camera?

One would hope not, Namsnanny. Goodness knows what he might get up to!

Tenko Sun 19-Nov-23 19:44:55

No I won’t be watching and I can’t stand Nigel Farage .

foxie48 Sun 19-Nov-23 19:47:48

I won't watch Nigel but I would watch Boris is they ever managed to get him into the jungle. I can just see him now, dangling from a rope (or perhaps that's deja vu)! So come on I'm a Celeb, give BJ enough money and you will boost your audience by at least one. He would be totally hilarious and would probably win.

maddyone Sun 19-Nov-23 20:16:40

Haha, I’d love to watch Boris. It would be hilarious.

How many other things would I prefer to do?
How long have you got?

I've got some paint that will want watching while it dries. 🙂

Freya5 Sun 19-Nov-23 21:21:07

Again, I don't waste my electricity on reality rubbish, another word is voyeurism.
Really, the most hated man in the world, how utterly ridiculous.

maddyone Sun 19-Nov-23 21:32:11

Even more ridiculous is that all the other celebrities are people I’ve never even heard of!

Louella12 Sun 19-Nov-23 21:42:51

I don't think this can be called voyeurism!

Voyeurism is the act of gaining sexual pleasure through watching or recording someone in a private act. To fall under this offence, it must be non-consensual.

How does he know that? He was supposed to be protecting our fishing but he didn’t bother to turn up.

MayBee70 Sun 19-Nov-23 22:28:57

‘Nigel Farage
Plenary attendance: 61.4%
Number of report amendments: 0
It’s hardly surprising that the leader of the Brexit party Nigel Farage, MEP for South East England, hasn’t shown up to do any work for the EU – no motions, reports or amendments, one whole written question, member of one committee; you know the story by now’.

Shinamae Sun 19-Nov-23 22:59:15

I think this year’s lineup is quite good, and although I have never voted before, I will be voting for Nigel Farage every time… (not for the trials, but to stay in)..😎
