Just watched the Christmas special.

Feel like I have swallowed a whole bottle of golden syrup.

How many more times is Sister Monica Joan going to predict her end is nigh?

I thoroughly enjoyed last nights episode.

I got to the stage where I could watch it or leave it (usually left it) but did enjoy last night's episode ๐Ÿ™‚

I have a lot of memories tied up in this programme, it was my mumโ€™s favourite show and it reminds me of her.

Along with the fashions of the time (I was born in late 50โ€™s) and one of my parents pubs was in that area.

To be honest, I thought last nightโ€™s episode was better because there were hardly any births!

I watched it this morning while tackling the ironing. It was a better episode and tied up some loose ends too. Mildred's story was very moving. I wonder if the dentist student grandson will appear in the next series. He and Timothy could chum up.
