Mason is about again.
Beth is doing counterfeit goods at the factory and Swains daughter got in on it and they’ve roped in the girl in the wheelchair.
Swains daughter is getting money off Joel at every opportunity.
Nick and Torah kissed a couple of times and had s**.

Nothing is in order that I have put here JaneJudge. Can’t think of anything else at the moment but everything is being dragged out………..

You forgot about Jack, the gormless Webster boy who set fire to Mason’s Dad’s car, in revenge for Abi’s deep fakes. He confessed and may end up in Young Offenders, or not, as the case may be.

Hope has dumped Sam and turned her attentions to said Jack, as an arsonist for a boyfriend is very cool.

Oh, and Lauren gave birth to a very premature son at 6 months (Frankie). Joel had locked her in the flat and Max fortunately went round and got her to hospital in time.

Joel is in a dilemma with it all. We don’t know if he intends to kill Lauren, the baby or anyone else who the scriptwriters can throw into the mix.

Oh yes, they all know Lauren is alive Jane Judge.

She has been visited in hospital by Max, Bobby, DS Swain, Dee Dee, Joel….

The baby is very prem but still here.

She let Joel see him and has put him on the visit list for baby, to be fair, he seemed very moved when he saw him and cried when alone. She named him Frankie after her grandad, and guess what, that is also Joel’s grandad’s name, he said.

Think that’s what upset him.

Of course, it will all end in tears.

Lauren just cries all the time as it is, not surprising really.

Exactly - but this is soapland, and that which is blindingly obvious to us, or so ridiculous as to be unbelievable, somehow gets written into the script. Isn't it frustrating? OH finds it frustrating too, as I keep stopping the recording to say how implausible a new development is. Why do we watch? Because we always have....

Thanks for adding the extra Calendargirl. I had to be careful what I wrote as just lately I’ve been watching classic Corrie so I might have added that Angela has been arrested for Tommys murder and got us in a right tiz script wise 😂

There was that medication that Joel gave Lauren in her soup before locking her in the flat. Was that supposed to kill her? induce premature birth??

It was to bring on a birth, which is why he feels so guilty now he sees a tiny surviving boy.

Glad that Hope was able to see Doctor Gaddas quickly, not having to wait ages for an appointment like most of us.

They’re used to it in Corrie Street. Sarah Lou was about 12 when she got pregnant.

I would love to live in Coronation Street. The ideal world.I have two serious health problems and have forgotten what my GP looks like.
I should be an under age child and need to see a GP about sex and contraception, then I would see one the same day.

Back in the day a friend of mine took work as an extra. The daily fee at the time was the same amount as the weekly dole payment. I don't know about now. The work was advertised at the Job Centre.

In the 60s, I was a film exra for a few days. I was paid £3 per day for filming. The salary at my proper job was £4 per week!

Mason has morphed from being a homeless, unwashed (I assume) sleeping-in-alleys ex con to being a waiter at Speed Dahl in about a day.
