Another new Corrie thread

The entire Barlow family, Amy, Tracy, Ken, all seemed to think investing £40k in ‘The Institute’ was such a great idea, it only needed a day or so to come to that decision…..

Now it’s all gone wrong, it has suddenly dawned on them perhaps such a quick decision should have been given a bit more thought….

Did anyone else see the interview with Rowan (the actor) He grew up with his mum and dad getting involved in a cult and said it was a big part of his childhood His mum was persuaded by the cult that she shouldn’t be taking medication so she stopped her heart tablets she was on, she ended having strokes and is now confined to a care home he said he was very aware of the danger and was glad to bring it to the public

The Joel story drags on and on but Beth is out of the door before one can blink an eye. Tomorrow she leaves. I would like to think after Kit has been frog-marched out of the force but hopefully leaving Craigie behind she may return after her panto work.

I know I have partial visual impairment but so much is filmed in the semi darkness. Is this for a semi-atmospheric atmosphere? It is not working for me.

What is wrong with Norfolk that there is nobody there who is better able to be a supervisor in the factory than Beth? Is it a sister factory or something?

What do people think is Kit's story? Is he just a bent copper who happens to be Bernie's long lost son, or is there more to him than that, plot-wise?

I am confused by the 'baddies' stories. We have Nathan, Will Mellor (I can never remember his character's name), Joel, Kit, Lauren's dad, Rowan - just off the top of my head. How many of them are linked? We need a Venn Diagram of villains

Could Kit be the father of Lauren's baby? After all he was keen enough to incriminate Nathan. So sad though. The poor wee girl from a dreadful background too.

BlueBelle, yes, I saw that interview with the actor who plays the devious Rowan. It was on the main ITV news on Wednesday, (yesterday).
Interesting in that he has personal knowledge of sects/cults, & sad of how his poor mother was affected.

I saw Classic Corrie a couple of weeks ago, and the Beth actress was in it playing a policewoman. She was the Family Liaison Officer when Tommy Harris was killed.

Beth going to work in the same factory as Fizz did …..in Norfolk! 🤣🤣. Least likely place in the country for a knicker factory. The only factories here are crab factories.

How come Joel is allowed to swan in and out of the special care unit? Also anyone is seemingly able to wander in and out of the factory. Don’t they have doors with limited access?

I thought it was too good to be true that the Joel storyline was coming to an end. I have a nasty feeling it will drag on to be the Christmas blockbuster.

Agreed about the factory and SCBU. They don’t even wash their hands on the way in . Now that Beth’s gone to Norwich, and Kit is containing (or contributing to) the cobbles crime rate, Kirkie and Craigie could set up a security firm? Do I get a prize for alliteration in that sentence? .

So long as Joel is in the slammer, I don’t mind what they do. Carla’s character needs a new storyline if she’s staying. Maybe she’ll be more watchable with a love interest
