Glastonbury. Any bands worth looking out for?

I'm looking forward to the Mary Wallopers also, I think Cyndi Lauper and Shania Twain sets should be good to watch.

I loved The Prodigy on Friday at the Isle of Wight festival. I didn’t know they’d reformed and they were never a band that I particularly liked but they were brilliant.

I LOVE The Mary Wallopers. As the child of Irish parents, I have always loved Irish music. These young musicians are keeping the music alive.

MayBee I stayed up to watch The Prodigy. Thought their set was great. I did ask my son if I should still be watching them at 78 and he thought it was OK!

Does anyone listen to the Folk on Foot podcast? I’ve discovered so many new bands from listening to it.

I don’t subscribe to Sky so I can’t rewatch it on catchup. I wonder if it will be repeated?

I'm not overwhelmed by this year's line-up, to be honest. Billy Bragg is always worth listening to, and I'd go and see James, Avril Lavigne, The Snuts, Squeeze and Seasick Steve.

I too enjoyed The Prodigy on Friday, caught up with The Pretenders and Pet Shop Boys over the weekend, thoroughly enjoyable.

Seasick Steve used to play in a pub not far from me.

It's the Red Hot Chilli Pipers who are playing at Glastonbury this year - not the Peppers

I really regret not catching the Prodigy.

One of my favourite bands.
I assumed they might be a bit lacklustre without Keef.

He actually liked horses and, nothing like his image, did dressage and stuff I believe. I’m sure it will be repeated at some point; I’ll try to look out for it. If you like a band and they do a good set that’s one thing but if you aren’t particularly a fan ( eg me with Queen at Live Aid) and they blow you away it has to be something special.
