Oh dear- we're back to " pearl clutcher " again.. is " right ignorant cow" a considered response to her style of questioning, or merely abusive? Discuss.

We all know who the pearl clutchers are. Those that post reams and demand justification from everyone who dare disagree. They are so intelligent and knowledgeable. The one's who simply dismiss everyone else's experience and knowledge as irrelevant just because it differs from their own.

I was expecting them to turn up in force but sadly they haven't.

That would be me, some people took offence to me calling Fiona Bruce a cow for the way she treated N Farage, after stating she would let him speak uninterrupted- she clearly didn’t. That was the point!

I love the pearl clutching metaphor, never heard it before I heard it on here. Pearls are very beautiful natural objects and it would be an honour to ‘clutch’ them. I love Bizet’s opera The Pearl Fishers,too. I now have a picture in my head of a perfectly formed glowing pearl from Broome.
