Sorry Chestnut, but at the time the early series of The Crown were made the late Queen and Prince Philip, and many others were alive, and I thought they were intrusive then, and still do.
I had a friend whose father was chairman of a company which was the subject of a long internal investigation; nothing illegal but an emotive subject at the time. A TV documentary/drama was produced with dramatic interpretations of he and his colleagues and the reasons behind their decisions. Used to being in the public eye, and having given full and undisputed accounts during the course of the public investigation they found the dramatic representations to be inaccurate, much information left out, and the production biased towards making a good story rather than presenting the truth.
ps, not The Post Office.
