It's well known that Charles couldn't bestow the title of Prince onto Archie until he was king Luckygirl. something private between themselves is not the same as being married which they claimed to be the case when talking to Oprah. Good grief even the Archbishop of Canterbury had to eventually quash that fabrication. His 'recollection' at how he received the news about the death of his GM wasn't one error it was another lie.

It's not "privileged knowledge" Luckygirl3 - anyone who kept on top of the News at the time read about it. Many of their accusations were proven to be untrue. He claimed so many petty things - that he had never been taken on a bike ride with his father for instance - photos then appeared of him doing exactly that as a small boy. And so it went on ......

I've always thought that Meghan has manipulated Harry to always get her own way. He seems weak maybe through his upbringing and losing his mother was a huge blow.
Harry found a woman who could think for him as in " I didn't know how angry I was till Meghan told me".
I don't hate these two. Just find them rather pathetic.

I think you’re right, but there was also a burning desire to get revenge on ‘the firm’ for not allowing Meghan to sparkle as the top dog, I believe she thought of herself as a Disney Princess who would wow the family and the country.

I think that people should cut them some slack. It is hard to comprehend how so many people delve deeply into their every reported move/statement looking for things to criticize. I am at a loss to understand why.

They (like me - and all of us) are not perfect - that is a given. Why is it necessary to compound the known cruelties of the media by buying into it all and adding to it? What is it about?

Would people be equally cruel to those they know?

I think we should cut them some slack . . .
The problem is, whether I comment favourably, unfavourably or however else I post about them, I am contributing to the discussion about two people I have never met.
So like everyone else I read what the media say and what those two say or write and then add my own POV.
The only way to cut them some slack is not to comment at all.

They want to be celebrities, celebrities want and need the public talking about them.

But Mollygo, they want you to be talking about them, providing you are saying what they want you to say.
