It's good, but how the children suffer when mother is in a bad relationship.

It is a true story, no doubt enhanced for TV.

The real Joan was involved with the production and is alive and kicking.

I tuned in last night but it is not for me I'm afraid.

I enjoyed it, I' think I'll be sticking with it, I dump so many drama series after a couple or so episodes. I've never seen Sophie Turner before, having read about her. Game of Thrones has passed me by, I thought she was good in the part.

Love the way some dramas use the soundtrack to tell a story. Just watching series 2 of Funny Woman. A real treat. Joan is next on my list!

Wouldn’t be surprised if she doesn’t get an award for Joan. Never seen her before this.

I’m glad I’ve started to watch this. The first 2 episodes were so interesting and well acted and I’m looking forward to the rest. I can’t watch ahead as DH likes to watch programmes when they are “on!”

A good story (I didn't know it was a true story) extremely well acted. Very believable. An insight into the lives of people who have had a less than happy start in life and the consequences that can sometimes
follow.

I’m loving this, we are just about to start episode 4. I didn’t realise this was based on a true autobiography and that Joan is alive and well and living in England!

If you have itvX you can binge watch…as it’s still raining here in THE MIDLANDS, am going to see if I can watch as much as I can 👌

I'm enjoying it. I don't know how anyone can swallow diamonds. I have enough trouble swallowing my pills.

I’m watching it and have got to episode 4 on itvx .
Sophie Turner is really good in this . I love that she can transform herself with wigs , makeup and accents .
I’m also loving the 80s clothes and music .

I am watching it on catch up I think she buried the diamonds under spaghetti junction, believe me you would not walk there a woman on her own and dressed like she was. Tough men went in two’s.

My son told me she was in the game of thrones(neither of us watch it) but also in a marvel film or some such, but more famously for being married to one of the Jonas brothers (i always get them mixed up) He divorced her because she always wanted to go out partying but he just wanted to stay home with the kids! (Apparently)😐Son said it was all in the news at the time.As for Joan, she was quite good in it i think, but as i binge watched it over 2 nights, i wont spoil it, but personally i think ending was obvious what was coming, and i was a bit dissapointed.I think its so they can bring it back if it gets good reviews.
