Remember When Saint Cliff Richard Dominated Christmas?

You are allowed to dislike someone (for any variety of reasons) or find them 'creepy' without a reason. Sometimes you just feel that way about a person - whether that is someone you know personally or a tv/media personality.

Though I've never been a fan -I've admired him for sticking to his Christian principles and felt acutely sorry for him when he was accused of being a paedophile
( I think -not sure .The details didn't come to light) .

He's not a saint, just like none of us either. But he was found not guilty of those charges.
Cliff had a brilliant career and was highly popular for a long time.
Why be unpleasant about people we don't really know?

When I was a child I met Cliff in his dressing Room when he was in Panto. Many many years ago. His mum was there too. Very pleasant man from what we could tell

Creepy seems to be the new buzzword for somebody you dislike, even though you don’t know them personally.
It’s quite creepy really.

I have always been a Cliff fan, loved all his music. I feel very sorry for all the false allegations he faced and how this must have been so awful and devastating for him. He is in is 80’s so of course he looks old now as we all will. He is a legend a brilliant showman and a kind man.

Making unsubstantiated allegations on social media is dangerous and could leave the person making them open to prosecution.

I agree Smileless uncalled for comments. A lot of people have enjoyed Cliff's entertainment over the years.
