Wallace and Gromit Sitting Room.

I just love this Christmas scene that precedes the BBC News and probably other programmes as well.

An old fashioned sitting room ready for Christmas, with a good fire burning, paper chains hanging from the picture rails, comfy seating and lamps lit.

Makes me think of years gone by and nostalgic for it all, although our home didn’t look quite as cosy as that idyllic scene.

I live in an old house and a few nights ago when on my own and watching tv there was a very loud noise from somewhere near where I was sitting just like a noisy hand clap 😲I got up and looked around but there was nothing to see.Felt a bit unsettled I have to say.

Builder's mugs are just right for Wallace and Gromit.

I get those weird awake but asleep happenings, forget the name Miss A, I feel the bed move and a nasty presence, theycare really scary, I've learnt to wiggle my toes to wake myself up 👀😟

I love the Shirley Hughes books with the gorgeous illustrations. I bought the Christmas book for my granddaughters this year.

As for W&G, I do love the little sketches. But now I too am obsessed with the white mugs!

I’ve found out that Green Wing is on Ch4 catchup. I’m going to binge watch it. There was one episode when one of the ladies had to wear glasses, put them on, looked at her hand and screamed that they looked like claws. I so related to that, my hands being my one vanity.

Sarnia yes, "builders' mugs" are great but these ones are too white in the scene (to me).

My late husband and I loved Wallace and Grommit and Shaun the Sheep, never missed an episode. It must take hundreds of hours to make those cartoons, so clever.
