Anyone watching this ?
I really enjoy this programme and I m looking forward to this new series
Did it come up to your expectations last night, a little twist at the beginning getting some folk off the train but will they be back??
Have they chosen the right traitors ? I am just trying to get the various names in my head I saw Linda’s reaction on Claudia’s word ‘Traitors’ and thought, ‘ah ha’ but didn’t realise it had been seen by any of the others (but it had)

I quite like Alexander, but can see he’s someone for whom people might have to ‘make allowances’ grin. His appeal might depend on context a bit.

I wasn’t a fan of Fozia either, although this programme lends itself to snap judgements rather than balance, I suppose.

To do well in a game like this you have to fit in with the group.
More intelligent, posh, awkward and so on will be voted off.
Minah stays under the radar very well.
Isn’t it strange how some of them are never suspected? The Barbie Girl would make a good traitor, better than Charlotte.

I agree. I think they see her as a 'bimbo' as she is young, pretty and blonde, plus they think she works as a nail technician. It's stereotyping in action, but it's helped her to stay out of the firing line.

I like him too Doodledog.
The format favours "being a sheep" on the whole.

Anyone different or who doesn't (mainly) conform can easily be targeted.
I think Alexander is also suffering because he wasn't there at the start.

Maybe the 3 who got off the train are all outliers anyway and are therefore ultimately destined to fail?

Parsley3 Thu 16-Jan-25 11:00:46

I am glad to see the back of both Fozia and Linda and I am struggling to picture Leeanne in her army officer's uniform because she is playing the "bimbo" role so well. I agree that she would have been a better traitor recruit than Charlotte with the silly fake accent.

I couldn’t see anything wrong with Fozia, she’s hardly been around long. The three late joiners were bound to be outsiders because they missed the early bonding. I don’t watch the after show programme to see the real persona, but Linda seemed dislikeable from the start and am amazed she lasted so long.
Minah’s playing a cracking game, she blends in so well and had no hesitation in discarding Linda.

Fozia is great, she has a place in the Media for strength forward views.
Linda, I'm surprised lasted that long, not sure if it's the edited that way, but it was obvious.
Love it!

What does this mean?

Aveline Fri 17-Jan-25 13:04:47

I fast forward through the endless discussions and dissections of people trying to decide who's a traitor. They're awful at it and all so completely sure they're right! It puts me right off the Faithfuls.

Visgir1 Fri 17-Jan-25 13:51:05

RosieMaw2.. Sorry typo.. . Straight forward views...

Parsley3 Fri 17-Jan-25 14:05:46

I do agree that the Faithful are hopeless. I am not actually enjoying this mix of personalities as much as I expected to and I don't know why.

lixy Fri 17-Jan-25 14:26:05

Me too Parsley. I am glad Anna has gone as I found her really irritating, though I felt sorry for her as she clearly found being in the coffin distressing, as would I!

I haven’t found anyone this series who I would like to pal up with, and I think that’s why I’m not enjoying it as much as series 1 and 2. Still love Claudia though and will definitely watch the rest of the series.
My money’s on Minah to win; OH was in favour of Jake but is backing Charlotte now.

All clear now! gringrin

I agree about this year’s personalities Parsley. I think it has turned out quite disappointing after getting hooked on it last year. Some of the new games haven’t been great either. I don’t really care who wins. The faithfuls don’t deserve to, but
Claudia remains super gothic.

BlueBelle Fri 17-Jan-25 14:46:50

I don’t know what you mean either Parsley I havent seen any different behaviour to any other series I haven’t seen anything nasty at all I felt sorry for Kas but that s the game isnt it
I think the newest Traitor (terrible with names is it Charlotte?) I think she’s rather clever and will throw Minah under the bus before we go much further

escaped Fri 17-Jan-25 14:55:17

Minah for me too. She's very good.
I think the others are trying to analyse it all too much. They can't be sure of anything, so need to loosen up and play the long game.

FriedGreenTomatoes2 Fri 17-Jan-25 15:52:53

I recently binge watched all of series 1 (12 episodes) with Aaron, Will, Hannah, Amanda etc. it was brilliant! Never to be repeated as so enthralling I think so I’ll not watch more.

BlueBelle Fri 17-Jan-25 16:02:17

Well you ve no way of knowing whether this one is better or not then FGT 🤣🤣🤣

Aveline Fri 17-Jan-25 17:24:53

I think the tasks are interesting. Quite unexpected really

Parsley3 Fri 17-Jan-25 22:40:27

Not a bad episode this evening. Poor Minah, she doesn't know what's coming from her fellow traitor.

BlueBelle Fri 17-Jan-25 22:55:58

I agree Parsley I think Charlotte will push her under the bus anytime soon did you notice Minah said something like she’d couldn’t wait to share the money two ways and Charlotte was completely quiet no way will she be sharing the money!!

LadyGaGa Fri 17-Jan-25 23:25:24

I think Minah is struggling a bit to keep up with the deceit. She just puts on a hang dog face and looks all sweetly at everyone. People are picking up on how quiet she is.
I think Charlotte makes a great traitor. She is planting Minah’s name around quietly. I think she might just take all the money.
Does anyone watch the after show on BBC2? It’s really interesting to see the banished ones come together. When Linda and Fozia were on you could tell there was still no love lost!

BlueBelle Sat 18-Jan-25 07:48:36

I thought Fozia was lovely on the BBC2 programme quite dry and funny she was someone I d love to have a coffee with i could almost see a twinkle in her eye
Linda I wasn’t so keen on although according to her she’s had loads of ‘fan mail’ she seems to have been on every BBC talk and news programme, far more than any others seem to have done

LadyGaGa Sat 18-Jan-25 10:58:53

Yes. I agree that the BBC seems to have plans for Linda. They are trying to present her as an ‘icon’ and pushing that everyone loved her - while it seems that most people actually weren’t that keen.
I too thought Fozia came across really well on the after show. It’s a shame she wasn’t in longer.

Oreo Sat 18-Jan-25 13:27:52

If I was a traitor I’d murder Joe next followed closely by Leanne. Barbie can dish it out but not take it and Joe is petulant the whole time.
I bet Frankie gets banished next.

Parsley3 Sat 18-Jan-25 14:04:27

Is Joe the English teacher? If so, I would definitely murder him for whining.
