Pippa I find Joanne Lumley very irritating too

The programme should be about the animals not her feelings for animals

I’ve never watched G&S either, but I must be sad, as I’m fully aware who JP is.
Love Actually from 20 years ago and she has done a consumer programme on what to buy/cook to save money.

However, I couldn’t put up with the programme either - she might love animals, but she hadn’t a clue about looking after them.

When you said Joanna I instantly thought of Lumley but obviously not although I find her intensely irritating for no real reason.
So Joanna who ?

I've never seen Gavin &Stacey, so didn't know who Joanna Page was. I watched the animal programme because I like that kind of thing.

She was useless on it! Talking to the animals when specifically told not to, then dithering over picking up a hedgehog. What a silly woman. I switched off after half of the 1st episode.

There are many presenters with this childish persona. I was watching the Travelling Auctioneers and the female auctioneer spoke like a six year old. Really irritating.

I hadn't realised she was 'Just Judy' in 🎥 Love Actually (2003).

Can’t bear this woman. She’s forever giggling like a 10 year old and chirping utter nonsense. Doesn’t seem to have grown up.

I watched it, I loved her enthusiasm and clear love for animals, BUT, boy is she irritating in so many ways!

I'd like to watch wildlife programmes especially Springwatch. I often think Chris Packham is trying hard not to be irritated with Michaela Strachan who can be exciteable and a bit silly. I have a feeling she reigns it in a bit for his sake.

I always think they have a good rapport, unlike Chris and Kate Humble.

He seems to tolerate Michaela as he might a younger sister 🙂

I saw this for the first time this week.I switched off after 10 minutes as I could not stand her little girl voice

I don't know who she is, but grown women behaving like children really, really annoys me, so it's probably just as well.
