I am watching this, and wondering where the last 40 years have gone.

I remember that day in its entirety as if it were yesterday.

I was pregnant, I remember where we went for dinner (having put a video in to record whilst we were out).

I can remember feeling so overwhelmed and emotional, probably pregnancy hormones.

Where have those 40 years gone ?

Incredible to think that my parents, looking back on the previous 40 years at that time in 1985, were recollecting the end of WWII

Time does indeed fly

I watched it with my 16 and 14 year old daughters

I watched it all day, it made a big impression. I was a couple of weeks away from finding out I was pregnant with my first child.

No mobile phones then either - everyone just loving the occasion and living in the moment! Now at gigs, every second person is recording it on their phone.

We were staying overnight with a lovely now retired woman who had been mr i’s secretary, she’d retired to Derbyshire. Webstayed over with our nine month old daughter and our German shepherd dog, on the way to mr i’s parents on the south coast.
We had the to on and watched Live Aid managing dog, baby, catch ups and food somehow between us. It was a fantastic concert, it brought people together in compassion to raise huge amounts for the starving babies and people high lighted by Michael B’s tv reports

I saw Queen in 1973, they were playing in a very small student venue. During the interval they joined us in the bar! Such a good memory.
