PrinceofCarmel, "it's A beautiful day". One of my favourite albums, White Bird of course being a beautiful touching song.
Music has been the timeliness of my life and has seen me through the dark and the good days.
I love to walk my local beach daily, weather permitting, the sounds calm me.
I have some lovely friends, online and off who have picked me up in my times off need
I'm a glass half full person.

At the moment life is really hard, DH very unwell, so most of my day is spent caring for him, but I try to find a pocket of time during the day when I can just sit and be still. Nothing else. Being still had previously never struck me as a thing, but have discovered how restorative it can be.

I walk in green spaces, where there are trees, grass, hedges...birdsong, dogwalkers who smile and say Hi.

I enjoy my food, grateful for every meal, every cuppa, every treat, every snack...we are so lucky to have such abundance.

I potter in the garden and grow some fruit and veg.

I read [lots] and learn, get inspired, admire the skill of the authors and respect their life stories.

I listen to music I love, makes me relive memories, dance and cry...with sadness or happiness.

I watch videos of babies laughing, dogs being silly, people dancing, people being kind to others...

I daydream or plan a future project.

I usually do all of the above on the same day.
Not all days are great, but I try to make each day enjoyable in some way...or look forward to the next day being better or at least different.

Look at this picture and just empty your mind and think beautiful thoughts. We are all on this journey together. Hugs.

Beautifully put, whywhywhy. Hard to learn, best to do.

I never have a problem getting through the day I m physically pretty active, then I m worn out enough to fall asleep 🤣 except tonight when I m pretty awake went and did some washing up I d left at 2 am will drift off again in a bit

If I get sad I find something active to do takes my mind off it

I have an annoyingly positive outlook

Remember that life is too short.

I battle with depression on a daily basis and it is a sod!

Drift along with my crafts and happy memories with friends, family and things in the past. We are only here once and there is no dress rehearsal.

When I feel good then I feel wonderful but the dark days can swamp me.

Remember there are good people out there as well as bad and we have to blot the bad ones out.

Love life and drift along like a feather on the wind. Grab life by the wings and fly with it.

I have had a bad past with a wife beating husband so my head is not right but I love so many good people that have helped me on this wonderful path.

Try to be good and kind and you will always win through.

Love and hugs to you all.

I’m only human after all.

I have never had a problem getting through the day unless I had a very specific reason for being sad, then I just keep going. The best way to get through the day is to keep busy so that you have no time to think.

Music, chatting to people, choosing gratitude over envy and blame as much as I can.

Watch Leonard Cohen when you feel the cruel and sadness and loss at times, and remember hope and beauty

"Ring the bells, that still, can ring:
Forget your perfect, offering
There's a crack, a crack, in everything:

Thats how the light gets in

What makes so many people harsh and critical ? Are they really so miserable they want to look for what is wrong instead of some semblance of gratitude for life ? John Lennon had a song I relate to. Nobody told me there’d be days like these.

What helps you get through the day ? I have tea and listen to songs like “White Bird” by It’s a Beautiful Day. Music that reveals our humanity. It amazes me how some people make the world a better place. Without reason.

The man in the picture would go to Carmel beach and play his bagpipes before sunset.

Love to walk on Carmel beach. Just because.
