Time for the next thread.

Beechnut Tue 25-Nov-25 18:10:50

Carl really is the lowest of the low!

Doodledog Tue 25-Nov-25 21:40:42

Someone said to me that Becky’s hairstyle makes her look like Noddy, and I can’t unsee it😂

Bukkie Tue 25-Nov-25 22:09:16

Doodlebug- Yes it's Noddy. She just needs a hat with a bell. I can't unsee it now either

Calendargirl Wed 26-Nov-25 21:01:12

OMG, how many more times will we see the will they/won’t they between Carla, Becky, Lisa?

As if we care……

😡

Charleygirl5 Thu 27-Nov-25 10:28:18

That was a remarkable recovery from being slumped on the floor one minute then bouncing around, fully alert physically and mentally the next.

Where is Todd's brain? Can he not see what Theo is doing?

I am fed up with the antics in both houses.

Dottydots Thu 27-Nov-25 13:34:57

Message to Carla. Kick the three females out of the house and then find yourself a decent, uncomplicated man.

Crossstitchfan Thu 27-Nov-25 20:40:20

They’ll be like hens’ teeth on Corrie, so she’ll be lucky!

Find the Todd and Theo storyline difficult and the Betsy, Becky and Lisa one boring. Carl a vile person Bring back the humour.

BlueBelle Fri 28-Nov-25 07:40:09

charliegirl no Todd can’t see what Theo is doing ….when you are in the middle of it you think they are right and you are in the wrong you are doing things to annoy them or upset them or not showing enough care and love, you only see it as your
fault it’s only when you are outside looking in that you see it rationally

Calendargirl Fri 28-Nov-25 20:26:51

Oh Todd, Todd!!!!

Can’t you see how crazy all this is?

Get out of that awful relationship!

Calendargirl Fri 28-Nov-25 20:27:38

Ditto Carla.

Primrose53 Fri 28-Nov-25 21:12:00

That was very uncomfortable viewing with Theo smashing Todd’s head into a mirror. Theo was so convincing I decided to google him.

He has form some years ago for an unprovoked attack on a man in a nightclub and nearly blinding him by breaking his eye socket. No wonder he was so convincing!

The Carla, Becky, Lisa triangle is quite ridiculous.

Sarnia Sat 29-Nov-25 02:43:26

Lisa takes too much that Becky says on trust. She could check out who ordered the wreath. Pound to a penny it was Becky. She's probably behind Costello's assault too. I won't be sorry to see the back of this storyline.

nanaK54 Sat 29-Nov-25 09:42:35

Poor Todd sad
Clever writing and superb acting but it's just horrible to watch

nanaK54 Sat 29-Nov-25 09:43:32

Meant to add that I could give a flying flamingo about the Lisa/Carla/Becky storyline

BlueBelle Sat 29-Nov-25 09:52:42

It’s very real, I m glad it’s being shown, so many people are unaware how subtle ‘indoors’ abuse can be with utter charm outside and how the abused one covers it all up because a)they love the person b) they are embarrassed, c) they blame them selves and d) they are afraid of the outcome
Corries doing well on that subject believe me I ve been there

nanaK54 Sat 29-Nov-25 10:08:56

BlueBelle flowers

Aveline Sat 29-Nov-25 10:11:34

Yes. This story is well done and a good way to illustrate how these devious, nasty characters work.
Sorry you went through this BlueBelle

Calendargirl Sat 29-Nov-25 10:41:59

But surely Todd must be realising Theo is unhinged?

Nice as pie one minute, then accusing him of flirting, being ungrateful, physically attacking him, forcing food (cold) on him or throwing it over him….

How can he dare to stay with him? Isn’t he afraid when they are in bed that the slightest thing might cause Theo to turn on him, strangle him, whatever?

Plus he conveniently comes up with all these made up scenarios when anything goes wrong.

I hope he confides in Billy, George, Sarah (thence Kit).

Especially Kit!

Aveline Sat 29-Nov-25 11:27:48

Todd's face conveys all these uncertainties so well. I'd never have guessed he was such a good actor.

Charleygirl5 Sat 29-Nov-25 11:48:58

I agree, it was well acted and well written for once. A pity somebody can't find the word goodbye for the Becky and co. scenes.

Bukkie Sat 29-Nov-25 14:16:02

Bluebelle I hope you are safe and in a better place now. Theo scares me at how quickly he can turn on the charm and then in the blink of an eye turn on the menace. They are both acting this so well but especially Gareth Pierce who I want to teach through the screen and hug. His portrayal of being on the edge all the time has me so worried for him. At the other end of the spectrum I couldn't care less about Lisa and Becky. I knew within about a second there was either no wreath or Noddy sent it herself. Carla kick them out your house and give Peter a call to come home.

theworriedwell Sat 29-Nov-25 14:40:24

He is doing it brilliantly. He deserves an award.

Clawdy I didn't want to read that because I also have had enough of Theo. Any half-decent story is "done to death". Poor downtrodden Todd needs to get a life again.

How is Becky surviving? Another jobless one with money.

Has Lisa been getting Becky's police pension? Will she have to pay it back? She was supposed to be her widow.

BlueBelle Sat 29-Nov-25 14:54:49

Oh yes many years ago Bukkie Avaline NanaK I then spent 10 years helping at an abuse centre so really recognise how true to life the acting is being
You do not allow yourself to see that it’s abuse and it is usually subtly intermingled with loving gestures and a nice person to the outside world it’s hard to describe but this story line is very real to life
It usually takes many beatings before a person makes an escape although people say ‘it would never happen to me the first time would be the last time’ but it’s just not like that I can assure you. I m not and never was a weak person it can happen to anyone it really can
