No spoilers but I've watched tonight's episode on ITV X. All I'll say is my pulse is racing and don't miss it.
Banking Bullies! Feeling ignored, and most un'appy
Robert Kenyon, Reform's candidate for Makerfield. Would you let him in your house?
Time for the next thread.

Good plan. I'm out this evening that's why I watched it.

Not sure why their mixture of accents would bother you then.
I agree Primrose and Doodledog, the actor playing Todd has portrayed a person in the storm of an abusive relationship amazingly well.
Oh Todd, leave, leave, leave!!!
Very very well done Corrie, covered relationship abuse extremely well and very well done Theo and Todd both acted that very well indeed
Yes, the acting was great but what was the thinking behind the four screens at once? I found it pointless and distracting. And what were the four different coloured circles that sat there through some of it, but not all? I am very confused!

I think we were seeing what Todds cameras were recording.
Theo discovered the camera photo frame by the TV……..but he does know about the one Todd placed in the kitchen…..yet!
Yes, the four scenes were a bit difficult to follow. It was only after a bit I realised the different days and times were showing, and realised it was set in over several days and times.
I thought Kit was sympathetic in his questioning.
How manipulative Theo is, and making others see him as the victim.
🤬
Just to advise: I noticed Corrie is on tonight (Tuesday) instead of Wednesday.
Football again!
I thought it showed how difficult it is for the police to deal with domestic violence, lying about what happens and the victim being made to look like the villain.
Surely George and Christina will start to think ‘has Todd really changed so much?’
And start to wonder when it started, all since Theo came into his life?

Thank you, theworriedwell. That makes sense. It may just be me but I found almost impossible to keep up with it all - trying to see what was happening x 4, and keeping track of dates at the same time was wearing. I still have little idea what the circles were for. Did they represent the cameras? Whatever, I hope the scriptwriters never repeat the way that episode was done. It was awful and I am going to watch it again today to see if, given what you’ve told me, I can make more sense of it. Maybe I was overthinking it? Or maybe I’m just thick?
Don’t think this counts as a ‘Spoiler’.
What does anyone think about this forthcoming episode of ‘Corriedale’, an amalgamation of Corrie and Emmerdale?
I never watch Emmerdale. Will I have any idea what is going on?
Due to be screened in the New Year apparently.
Not sure about Corriedale Calendargirl I watch both soaps but not sure how they will join up. Maybe something to do with wedding planning. Think the writers are desperate to boost flagging numbers of viewers.
I found the split screens difficult to follow last night as well, didn't really get into it until the programme was almost over.
Calendargirl I agree, I alo don't watch the other soap so unsure if I will have a clue.
I am partially sighted, so last night's TV did me no favours.
I would have liked to have seen Theo dead, but that would mean goodbye to Todd, as he would be locked up forever.
Combining the two seems like desperation to me!! Kate Brooks is the worst ever thing to happen to Corrie. It all started going downhill very soon after her appointment. Last night’s episode is the only one I have enjoyed for months. Sorry if that’s unkind but I have no other way to put it.
I don’t watch Emmerdale either and am not looking forward to the amalgamation at all. Many of us will have no clue who half the people are. What a totally stupid idea!
I have never watched Emmerdale so would not have a clue who the characters are.

I completely agree with you.
Corrie has certainly lost its way under Kate Brooks. I read about Corrie and Emmerdale combining and thought as Crossstitchfan does that unless you watch Emmerdale, and I don't, you won't have a clue who is who.
I love Emmerdale Iwas late to it probably only been watching a year or so but I like it a lot better than Corrie
I too am not sure how the crossover will work although they have a lot of similar characters for instance they both have a learner medic Aisha and Jacob I m wondering if that’s where it could come together or weddings we have a wedding planner in Emmerdale
We also have a full on baddie doing a very good acting job
( Joe Absolom)
Not sure at the moment wether I ll like it or not but it’s a one off so if we don’t like it it won’t really matter too much
I loved Joe Absalom in Doc Martin, can't bear to see him as a baddie BlueBelle.
I don't think we'll have much bother in getting to grips with CorrieDale, same team, same writers, we'll catch on in no time.

Yes, same - oh well it might be interesting!
