Celebrity Traitors - may the oldies rule!

Celebrity Traitors starts tonight at 8 pm.

I'm looking forward to it, there's some reasonably good brains competing.
At least two of the contestants are pensioners - Celia Imrie (Calendar Girls, Marigold Hotel etc) and the erudite Sir Stephen Fry.

I don't think the charities are usually mentioned in any game show until the end.

keepingquiet Mon 20-Oct-25 15:32:29

I don't watch any others.

Are we all ready for 9pm?

escaped Wed 22-Oct-25 18:13:14

Of course!

Grannynannywanny Wed 22-Oct-25 18:17:03

I’m looking forward to it 😊

Ooh yes. I've a feeling Jonathan Ross may be outed tonight. All I need to do is make sure I don't fall asleep at 10 to 10 grin

merlotgran Wed 22-Oct-25 21:14:19

Once again Joe is right and then starts talking himself out of it.

Jaxjacky Wed 22-Oct-25 21:46:08

We’re both shouting at the TV!

merlotgran Wed 22-Oct-25 21:59:26

Now what??

BlueBelle Wed 22-Oct-25 22:00:55

Oh no two faithfuls !!!

Allira Wed 22-Oct-25 22:03:03

They're not Hercule Poirots and Jane Marples, are they!

Smileless2012 Wed 22-Oct-25 22:06:55

The only one who voted correctly for a traitor in the first vote was Celia.

keepingquiet Wed 22-Oct-25 22:14:27

Oh they are so hopeless! And then it finished!

I don't want either to go but if I had to choose it would be Mark...

escaped Wed 22-Oct-25 22:14:54

Well, as I see it, that will mean whoever doesn't come under the hammer and get banished with the chance will have the most votes next time.

Grannynannywanny Wed 22-Oct-25 22:26:40

That was a nail biting finish. I’m glad we’ve got it again tomorrow night.

Me too, but it would be a vote to save David rather than a vote against Mark.

Maybe the celebrities could be encouraged to donate some of their £40,000 fee to whichever the charities they are supporting.

Why should they? Its their earnings

I agree, too. Somehow Mark is overly intense. He seems desperate to prove he is faithful, whereas David just says it calmly as it is.

BlueBelle Thu 23-Oct-25 07:39:12

David is such a calm person with such a clear mind I hope he stays I like Mark too but out of the two one is quite deep thinking and sensible the other is passionate and a bit all over the place sorry Mark it has to be David

keepingquiet Thu 23-Oct-25 07:58:16

David to stay! Oh my how will they decide? I won't be the toss of a coin I'm sure... this is Traitors!

Jaxjacky Thu 23-Oct-25 08:59:48

I’d like Mark to stay, his accent and kilt get my (shallow) vote.

Not everyone shouts from the rooftops regarding their charity donations.

If any of the contestants decide to donate to their charity it is between them and the charity, as are any donations any of us make from our incomes/savings.

Given that the very lovely Mark and David were two of my three favourites from the beginning, I’m totally p’d off. Only good aspect of it is anticipating the reactions of the other Faithfuls 😁

Me too.

So far (if my memory serves me well which at this stage of my life is questionable) Lucy hasn't been mentioned as a traitor. Celia may have been once I think but not lately and has Alan been put forward as a traitor? I don't think he has. Cat not mentioned much either.

We know it's going to be a faithful tonight so next week they really need to start getting their act together.

We know Cat is not afraid to put one of the others forward to save her skin. I wonder if the other 2 are happy to throw each other under the bus.
