Celebrity Traitors - may the oldies rule!

Celebrity Traitors starts tonight at 8 pm.

I'm looking forward to it, there's some reasonably good brains competing.
At least two of the contestants are pensioners - Celia Imrie (Calendar Girls, Marigold Hotel etc) and the erudite Sir Stephen Fry.

I’d like Mark to stay, his accent and kilt get my (shallow) vote.

😁

Yes, I shall have to find repeats of Shetland to compensate!

Allira Thu 23-Oct-25 19:55:44

David is growing on me now he's spoken up more, sorry, Mark, Shetland will have to wait!

merlotgran Thu 23-Oct-25 21:05:37

Hooray! David.

Poor Mark sad

Jaxjacky Thu 23-Oct-25 21:46:40

Mark 😢
Cat pulling out the neurodivergence card - shame.

nanaK54 Thu 23-Oct-25 22:08:32

So who do we think has been murdered?

Allira Thu 23-Oct-25 22:09:33

😲 Scary!!

Jaxjacky Thu 23-Oct-25 22:13:45

Excellent twist.
Save me looking it up, who writes it, anyone know? Thanks

So who do we think has been murdered?

Maybe Nick?

Yes, I think so too

The thought of going out at night into that garden alone, being confronted with the Traitors seemed very scary 😲

Then I remembered that the camera crew and probably a director director were there too.

Maybe the celebrities could be encouraged to donate some of their £40,000 fee to whichever the charities they are supporting.

Why should they? Its their earnings

Not everyone shouts from the rooftops regarding their charity donations.

If any of the contestants decide to donate to their charity it is between them and the charity, as are any donations any of us make from our incomes/savings.

Well said, GrannyGravy
Anything else is virtue signalling.

Indeed, positive virtue signalling - there should be a lot more of that.

Kate is lovely but she is definitely weak and seems to just be carried along with other people's opinions . It's almost as if she's along for the ride but not really into the game . I'm loving it

Grannynannywanny Fri 24-Oct-25 08:16:33

I’ve been surprised at Kate’s apparent lack of confidence. She seems to take a back seat and just go with the flow. It’s almost like she’s never watched previous episodes and doesn’t know how to play the game. I feel a bit sorry for her.

If there are only six faithful and there are three traitors unless they get a traitor each night, surely the traitors will win as they get rid of 2 people a day.
How many days are left?
I suppose they can give clues at (say) breakfast - or tweak the rules/tasks...

shysal Fri 24-Oct-25 11:35:27

Surely Jonathan's days are numbered!
I love the podcast when the murdered and banished are shown the names of the Traitors, the reactions are priceless!

Going off piste, I saw Cat as a subject on Portrait Artist of the Year this week. Without The Traitors I wouldn't have know who she was.

And coincidentally, Joe Marler was on it the week before.

I really though Jonathan would go this week. I think he might go next week though if they stay with the "top dogs" theory.

GrannyGravy13 Fri 24-Oct-25 12:46:11

Off piste, I would quite like Claudia’s entire Traitors wardrobe 👍🏻

Parsley3 Fri 24-Oct-25 12:56:28

At the moment, it looks like two of the Traitors are in with a good chance of winning. JR's fancy pants coat is on a very shoogly peg, I think, now that SF has gone. Sorry to lose Mark though. I am another fan of Claudia's wardrobe and her shiny hair.

shysal Fri 24-Oct-25 14:43:34

I would quite like Claudia's wardrobe, but I would have to have her skinny legs to go with it! Unfortunately mine are short and chubby sad

I have achieved shiny hair for the first time in years by using Asda's own brand basic coconut shampoo and conditioner for 79p a large bottle, when trying to economise (other hair products are available smile). No fringe for me though!

Deedaa Fri 24-Oct-25 20:19:34

I think Jonathan must be an obvious target with Stephen gone.

I wonder if she gets to keep it?

Iam64 Fri 24-Oct-25 21:10:25

Claudia’s wardrobe is so interesting plus, she wears it well. I’m new to Traitors and enjoying it

Allira Wed 29-Oct-25 21:42:08

Ooh, that bridge! 😟

Jaxjacky Wed 29-Oct-25 22:02:29

Allira you’ve echoed my thoughts - no way.
