Anyone tuned in to this. I did last night. What a debacle. Is there nothing they won’t do for money?. Ruby Wax has had some sort of face lift, unbelievable.. Contestand just sticking their faces in mountains of animal entrails, blood and guts everywhere. I think they would eat dirt. .Jack Osbourne is the most grounded and likeable and also Lisa Riley, still they went in. The others not so. They are all wealthy people, they don't need the money, its not character building in anyway, I do not get it..Is it just any publicity is better than none. Cannot see how it will do Kelly any favours whatsoever.

I absolutely hate all of the contestants and all those in the past and all those in the future, same with the hosts.

I've signed countless petitions over the years to get this sewer trash closed for the animals.

NOBODY in there is nice or likeable, they're a bunch of egomaniacal minus-z-listers that nobody has ever heard of or cares about, torturing and murdering various insects, animals, rats, snakes, etc. just to boost their already universal-sized self-obsessed egos and for the money.

When will this animal murdering sludge be banned? Why isn't anyone being jailed for animal cruelty? Apparently, never.

You said,
‘I absolutely hate all of the contestants’

You are coming across as someone who is not very nice! Do you really hate everybody??

school fees don't come cheap
That's a strange reason you give for their wanting to do the show, WithKnobsOnIt, seeing as only one of the twelve has children at school (UK).
That's VogueW and her husband is super rich and went to Eton.

Vogue William’s husband (Spencer Matthews) brother James Matthews is married to Pippa Middleton (sister of our Princess of Wales)

I doubt very much she needs the money, maybe, she wants to do something for herself as her husband is always off doing ultra marathons or ultra Ironman events to raise money foe charity.

Watched it all last night apart from the eating and drinking trials, which turn my stomach. Think Jack stands out with his calm manner and getting things done, amazing when you consider his upbringing. No judgement on his family, just love for them all. Kelly is unfair to Jack, she does things wrong due to not listening and panics and blames him. Vogue never stops squealing..I had never heard of Ginge or Aitch but they seem to be popular, also always switched Tom off so due to his daft voice and still won’t listen to his shows but what a nice person.
he is.
Kate, Ozzy, had that down to earth sense of humour and getting on with things associated with Birmingham, despite his mad years, never quite found it anywhere else in the country., However I digress.

Does anyone remember the early series where the contestants were weighed before and after? I suppose it's now considered non pc but I suspect it's due them having access to more food now than of old and not losing much weight. I remember one episode where they were that hungry that they tried to catch a rat. Now it's venison and veg! I think it has had it's day and is too samey now but still find myself watching but have to fast forward Cant & Feck as never have found them funny.

And isn't Vogue the one who does the Fairy adverts? Her children are quite young and, anyway, I expect the pay from that is enough to pay school fees.
Probably only one is at school anyway.

Do you have proof that animals are actually tortured and murdered please?
A squashed cockroach?

Allira Sat 29-Nov-25 21:57:16

Possums are protected so the meat can't be possum.

Never watch it and don't understand why anyone finds this entertaining.

Each to their own I suppose...

I agree. It’s garbage and ridiculous to destroy ecosystems.

Yes Allsorts After Ozzy's death it came to light that he supported many local businesses here in Brum. I thought it was moving that his funeral cortege went past his childhood home.

I think you'll find that far more eco-systems are being destroyed throughout the world to provide food for growing populations than in that tiny, privately owned area of Australia.

The IACGMOOH set is purpose made in a disused banana plantation.

It is artificial and designed specifically for the purposes of the show. (It is in the lowland subtropical rainforest area)

Germany and the USA use the exact same set. It is also shared with versions from other countries including France, Sweden, India and Hungary.

It does not interfere with the Australian ecosystem.

Thanks, GrannyGravy, I'd forgotten that.

I watched an episode from a couple of days ago. Two contestants were excused from a couple of tasks for some reason or other, medical, I think. The same thing happened with Anne Hegarty on a previous year. This annoyed me. If they know in advance that they are not up to even trying, they shouldn’t enter the jungle at all. It isn’t fair on the others either.

Kate1949 Mon 01-Dec-25 00:19:41

I agree Crosstitchfan

It's the old story - ANY publicity is better than no publicity. There's desperate for you.

I thought Jack suffered fromMS so how can he do any of the trials?

Eloethan Tue 02-Dec-25 23:41:54

I agree some of the comments do sound snobbish. I think most people enjoy a bit of fairly undemanding light entertainment.

However, I find it troubling that people find enjoyment from watching other people having to carry out disgusting challenges and/or being frightened or hurt. I don't call that light entertainment and I wonder if anyone recalls the TV 1960s play entitled The Year of the Sex Olympics - a warning of what can happen when people become more and more desensitised to, and demanding of, viewing very extreme/cruel human behaviour.

Kate1949 Tue 02-Dec-25 23:56:49

No contestants are hurt or frightened. They may have to face things they would rather not face. They are getting well paid, some rumoured to be getting £250,000. Their relatives stay in a luxurious beach side hotel which the contestants go back to after elimination. A couple of weeks of 'hardship' is well worth it.

Yes, he could, I think. A friend had a similar form to him, sometimes she had relapses, sometimes she was fine for months or years. In fact, she had two babies years after problems started but before she had an actual diagnosis.

He is presumably going through a remission phase at the moment. I do hope any treatments he is having are helping him.

henetha Fri 05-Dec-25 11:11:32

My sister-in-law has MS but still often has an active life.

Cumbrianmale56 Fri 05-Dec-25 15:07:50

It's the same old, same old, every year and this year, I notice the audience figures are well down. I wish ITV would stop wasting money on programmes with second rate celebrities and spend some money on decent dramas, Unlike a reality show, you can watch repeats of a really good drama and buy Blu Rays.

There are different types of MS, Jack has relapsing-remitting MS so he has periods when he relapses and periods when he is in remission. If lifestyle changes are made such as lowering stress, a healthy diet and regular exercise is taken then this type of MS can be managed. In recent years Jack has done shows based on adventure and travel which seem to have improved his health, he used to carry much more weight when he did The Osbournes reality show, it was evident from the trial where he had to go underwater that he is very fit. When a meeting with his wife and youngest daughter was shown it was evident that he is a devoted father, his little girl obviously adores him. Despite his unconventional upbringing Jack is a credit to his family.

I wish Jack had been able to join in that challenge, he said he wanted to. Of those left I would like Tom to win but apparently Ginge has lots of followers who will probably vote for him.
