The way the animals, including the insects are treated makes me very angry. The celebrities who are willing to be part of this cruel treatment sicken me. As for Ant and Dec. bloody awful program. If people didn't watch it it would stop.

The insects are commercially bred then collected and given to wildlife sanctuaries for food for birds and endangered animals after the trials.

All part of the eco system.

I agree- if they were given dog's testicles imagine the outcry! But for some reason other less 'popular' animals are fair game.
I find it disgusting and don't know why there hasn't been more of an outcry, unless it's all fake of course...

So some people don't like it. Fair enough. But why the need to spoil it for those that do? Does it make you feel superior?

Surely the giblets and entrails can't be from animals, pushing their mouths into flesh and guts could cause nasty infections and stomach bugs . There has to be health and safety . I'm not sure the flesh is real .

Smacks of desperation. Just shows how low people will go and what they will do for money.

I think Charities get some money out of it but this is secondary to the dosh they get for their appearance fee.

But the again cosmetic surgery, bling houses, designer clothes and lifestyles,school feed don't come cheap.

I've signed countless petitions over the years to get this sewer trash closed for the animals.

NOBODY in there is nice or likeable, they're a bunch of egomaniacal minus-z-listers that nobody has ever heard of or cares about, torturing and murdering various insects, animals, rats, snakes, etc. just to boost their already universal-sized self-obsessed egos and for the money.

When will this animal murdering sludge be banned? Why isn't anyone being jailed for animal cruelty? Apparently, never.

I thought it was a thread that people who enjoys this programme. I was wrong, it's full of posters who don't like the programme telling us we are airheads and other things.

Posters telling us they hate it, suggestion, start another thread, and let those of us who enjoy it discuss.

This thread has got very personal and I think telling posters that they should not watch it is a bloody cheek.

You obviously watch it avidly every years to know so much about all the contestants, the hosts, the whole show in fact.

Perhaps you can let me know who some of the contestants are as I only dip in from time to time and I'm not sure.

I have a soft spot for Ruby. I don’t think she’ll win but I hope she makes it to the final 3. Aitch and Ginge have such a huge online following I think they’ll be neck and neck till the end. Tom is lovely. I’d like to see him win.

I’m fascinated by the things they put themselves through especially the eating trials as my camp mates would definitely go hungry if it was left to me. 🤮
They’re all so lovely in there this year that I can’t decide. I usually vote but not this year as I can’t choose one. They’re all characters in their own right and each have something different to offer.
All the stories the celebs tell are interesting especially this year as Jack is opening up about his family life with Ozzie and Sharon and now this evening he’s telling Kelly about his grandfather and mother’s falling out. Intriguing.
Here’s to many more years. 😊

I must admit I admired Jack for the way he has conducted himself. I have now grown to like him.

I love Tom. I have a bit of an interest in Jack as someone in my family went out with Ozzy's brother in the 70s.
