TV, radio, newspapers and magazines are stuffed with little else on New Years Eve.

Well, it's cheap to dredge up a heap of dog-eared memories, innit?

It is the first time I haven't bought a Radio Times at Christmas

I have been wondering whether to give it a miss next year.

We just looked up the tv guide online.

Worked well, seeing the programmes written down don’t make them any better or more watchable.
