Anyone up for a Traitors thread?

I did love Jade's Hope McCauley cardigan. At 450 pounds she's doing well for a student!

I don't like it (awful, bulky) and am remembering the criticism Tom Daley got for some of his similar knits!

I thought it was a home knit, possibly by Gran 😄

I thought it was from Game of Wool.

No comments on tonights episode?

I'm back in the interested zone!

What an episode but I still think Fiona is a poisoned dwarf- I really don't like her at all.

Can't wait for tomorrow!

Toetoe Thu 08-Jan-26 22:25:29

Well well well Amanda a detective constable highly experienced in interviewing criminals , she didn't do well . Her face when she discovered Rachel her best friend is a traitor. She ( Amanda really thought she was doing such a good job helping find the Traitors and didn't find one 🙄

keepingquiet Thu 08-Jan-26 22:39:17

In the end she sort of fell on her own sword- she thought her job would help her find the Traitors but she was as clueless as everyone esle- making out she was trying to use her job skills to 'help' people!

I just want Fiona out now.

What a cracking episode! I’ve never liked Fiona, and I’d love to see Claudia banish her now for breaking the traitors’ code (that I may or may not have just made up 😊) by more or less outing Rachel to everyone else.

Harriet is still my favourite, both as a person and for the win. She’s playing a canny game. Though there are a few contestants that I hardly even notice. Matthew, for instance. When his name was mentioned tonight I just thought “who’s that?”.

Allira Thu 08-Jan-26 22:43:57

I thought Fiona was playing clever but she seemed quite unpleasant and spiteful this evening. I hope it backfires on her.

I missed that, was it on at the end? Did I nod off again!

Really enjoyed the antics of tonight’s episode but I am very worried for Reece’s mental health. I hope they have some counsellors available.

ClicketyClick Thu 08-Jan-26 22:49:05

You've hit it on the head Maggiemaybe as they each had to make an oath to Claudia. I can't remember the exact words but it was to the effect that they'd never reveal or betray a traitor. So will Fiona be banished because she broke the oath? I just can't take to Rachael but admit she's playing a blinding game.

OldFrill Thu 08-Jan-26 23:28:12

No problem with a traitor accusing another traitor of being a traitor, although it usually happens at the round table.
A traitor cannot tell anyone they are a traitor, that's the oath.

BlueBelle Thu 08-Jan-26 23:33:31

I can’t take to Rachel at all
Some of the lads are quite tender I was sorry Maz went

NotAGran55 Fri 09-Jan-26 05:43:13

Hoping the table turns on Fiona and they see through her after her outburst.

TillyTrotter Fri 09-Jan-26 07:55:20

Oh dear Amanda’s skills let her down. She didn’t have any idea who the Traitors were.
The group should listen to Jade as she is on to Stephen.
It is hard to watch Reece he is so despondent.

Sparklefizz Fri 09-Jan-26 08:00:47

I haven't liked Fiona from the beginning and last night I really disliked her. She was quite spiteful and I hope she's out tonight. She has enjoyed swanning around feeling in charge, and was furious that Amanda had confided in Rachel and not her. We saw another side to her for sure.

I still don't understand why Reece ... or somebody ... didn't tackle her over her not bothering to collect any skulls on the mission. She made a strange comment while she was in the woods pootling about, saying she had all the time in the world, while poor Reece was waiting in the cage calling out for her. She deliberately sabotaged his chances of being released.

The names of a psychotherapist and counsellor come up in the credits, so Reece will have someone to turn to. People have suggested that Reece could be Fiona's son. If he were my son, there's no way I could have sat opposite him at the round table while he was upset and not got up to comfort him.

TillyTrotter Fri 09-Jan-26 08:14:22

Fiona seems to be what my mum would have called “a piece of work” .

BlueBelle Fri 09-Jan-26 08:48:36

I certainly don’t think Reese is Fiona‘s son, no way, I hope not anyway for his sake. She certainly isn’t coming across very well. is she? I don’t understand that business in the wood why she didn’t even try what was that all about? Weird I think Harriet is the voice of reason
I don’t think Amanda was as sure of her abilities as she made out she was. I thought she looked all at sea round the table
I’m not sure why they picked Maz. I just don’t seem to see what the idea behind that was?
Stephen really isn’t built to be a traitor Rachel is but I still dont like her too much

GrannyGravy13 Fri 09-Jan-26 08:58:10

Well, that episode kept me awake!

Fiona is playing a rather odd game, definitely not a team player.

Millie22 Fri 09-Jan-26 09:10:24

I'm worried for Reece. He needs to get out now. It's almost like a bullying situation that he can't manage.

Amanda was clearly very wrong to continually target Jade in her £400+ cardigan and to trust Rachel.

nanaK54 Fri 09-Jan-26 09:28:18

Poor Reece he seems to have 'given up' quite sad to watch.
Amanda: oh my word she couldn't be more wrong!
Fiona: goodness, that seemed to have been driven by 'jealousy' because Amanda chose to confide in Rachel as opposed to her.
Stephen: appears to be completely out of his depth now.
Looking forward to watching this play out this evening!

keepingquiet Fri 09-Jan-26 10:10:19

Reece cannot be Fiona's son- he is far too nice and naive. His mental health will be fine when he keeps getting invited back to appear on the aftershow and make a career for himself, which is what reality show participants are really after.

I think a little of Amanda's unconsious bias- (she is with the Met after all) was why she focused on Jade.

Likewise why Maz went too- it was Fiona who wanted him gone from the beginning.

I agree that Harriet seems to be playing the best game so far.

Meanwhile- I really can't wait to see the consequences of last night's uber drama.

Fiona is a nightmare person in my opinion, and I know a few like her! No insight whatsoever.

I said Jade is on to Stephen
- my mistake -
I meant Jessie is (with the bright-coloured hair).

I will never understand why people continue to post on threads about subjects they're not interested in confused

MollyNew Fri 09-Jan-26 12:34:53

Amanda was so confident of her detective skills and couldn't have been more wrong grin

I can't wait for the verbal punch up in the turret tonight.
