False Prophets **GNHQ amending to Small Prophets**

Oh I really loved 'Small Prophets'. What great characters. I've just seen the last episode and I'm so sorry it's over. I can't see how it could actually be continued but I hope it will be.

My daughter says they want to do three series.

I'm on episode 5, I find it a bit depressing for some reason, it feels claustrophobic (like Michaels house!) but yes I heard more series too.

Without giving too much away for those who haven’t watched the whole series yet and the conversation between Michael and Kacey on the kerb, I can’t see any future series straying from the local area. If it did, it would lose all the sub-characters and how they interact with Michael. It wouldn’t be the same without. He will have to come to some arrangement with Roy.

I’m guessing more homunculi growing and more of them. Dad Brian said there were six and we’ve only seen three. We didn’t see the monk, the knight or the peasant. What wasn’t explained or shown (I don’t think) was whether each homunculi has the ability to prophesize different things.

Mackenzie Crook is a genius.

Loved the first and so far only series. Such a change to watch something so different. I had no idea where the story line was going. So imaginative. Shop assistants relieving their boredom by "teasing" customers as if that would ever happen The characters were so much more relatable, gentle and kinder than are usual in comedy series. Well done Mr Crook.

Can anyone tell me if the lady from the Open University who was in the last episode also appeared earlier in the series? I think she did but can't remember when. (I might just be confused as this actress is appearing in lots of things at the moment)

We enjoyed this, it was certainly different! The end of the last episode said to be continued…so I’m assuming there will be another series. Im guessing they still have the recipe…so can make more of the homunculi, but they were heading off for a new life. Interesting to see what happens.

I think she only turned up at the end.

She's the annoying media person in Patience and I briefly confused the two roles!

I think it needs watching twice because there are so many things going on sometimes I didn’t pick up on some of them. And the things I did pick up on I can’t stop thinking about. Pure genius.

Watched it all. Utterly brilliant and beautiful.

Having binge watched it, it came on tonight and I started watching episode two ( I am going to be rewatching it all at least once) and realised how many things I hadn’t noticed first time round. It’s so multi layered. I feel sorry for anyone working in a do it yourself store at the moment because they must be being bombarded with catch phrases.

Brilliant series, cant wait for series 2.

Yes a very cheering gentle programme last night. Just what the doctor ordered.

I suppose that only BBC would fund making programmes like this. I couldn't see any of the commercial streaming companies supporting this sort of show.

I decided to watch it all. It really is wonderful. It was so nice to watch something with such a lovely male lead character.

We are also working our way through the detectorists and again, such likeable, positive characters

I thought it was very boring and the acting of the main character very wooden. I gave up after one episode. But my DD and family loved it and binge watched the whole series.

I loved it and watched it over 2 nights. Told a friend to watch it. They said they did not like it after two episodes and gave up on it.

Detectorists is just the same; layers upon layers; minute and subtle details perfectly reminding you of something that was once familiar but forgotten.

I didn’t actually notice the buckets first time round!
