Did anyone catch this show last night?

It’s one of my favs anyway, (along with Mock the Week), but last night was a cracker!

PresenterRoy Wood Jr from USA
PanellistPaul Merton
PanellistIan Hislop
PanellistArmando Iannucci
PanellistAnushka Asthana

Great guests and hilarious presenter from US and the Trump section was so funny. As was the part around Churchill being “replaced” possibly with a badger, and the panellists reassuring us that no statues would be pulled down and a giant badger erected in its place.

Paul Merton and Ian Hislop were at their best and great guests.

DH and I had an enjoyable 30 minutes gawfawing most of the way through!

Once again nearly fell off the sofa laughing! Lovely to escape from all the misery in the world!

I enjoyed seeing Monty Don in a different light. A very entertaining episode. grin

Monty Don talking about sex and using the F word though….I mean! 🤭🤭

I could just imagine a few pearls being clutched. 😂😂😂

It was so funny. Trump has given them so much material to work with.
I enjoy seeing him ridiculed (I feel bad saying that. I'm not really like that 🤔)

Another brilliantly funny episode.

They have set the bar exceptionally high in the first two episodes, fingers crossed for the rest of this series. 👏👏👏

I enjoyed it a lot. Monty Don was an unexpected choice, but I thought he was really good.

It’s what I meant by not enjoying the programme so much when Roy Wood presents. Yesterday evening with Monty, we heard more from the team captains and guests. Paul Merton was on good form as was Chris McCausland.

Shame Artemis didn’t touch down sooner as the free advertising for Nutella would have segued nicely into the quips today likening the parachutes to Tunnock’s Teacakes.

I rarely watch this programme but caught it last night, and thought it was good, that is, Monty Don, Chris McCausland and Helen? (journalist) were. Paul Merton and Ian Hislop are trading on past glories and their sparking repartee has dimmed; what would they do without Trump.
