Yes, the BBC may need to save money somewhere but getting rid of the likes of MoneyBox Live and The Law Show, among others, is a huge mistake.

There are precious few programmes as informative and on the side of the consumer, whilst I wouldn't for one minute miss Strictly Come Dancing and its ilk.

Just cancelling that for even one season would save a ton of money. And let's add the over-abundance of sports pundits to the list.

I have enjoyed many very good dramas on ITV. Never watched horseracing but shows that a wide variety of programming should have something to suit nearly everybody.

The BBC is always biased where Scotland is concerned just watch Queztion time for examples.
Sadly the STV isn,t much better ,if at all and broadcasts “SNP. BAD” at every opportunity ,now my friends in Aberdeenshire tell me STV will no longer be broadcasting a local news programme there.
There will still be the so called National news which is English heavy with things that don’t concern us or really interest the locals, who WANT to know what’s happening in their own backyard.
Media is of course all owned by mainly men with their own agenda and it doesn,t involve the public opinion
