I've just seen that he has died. Im quite sad about this. I knew he had been unwell but it's still come as a shock. A fine actor and a nice man

It’s very sad news. I read Sam Neill’s memoir a year or two ago, Did I Ever Tell You This? It’s a lovely collection of stories of his life, especially his younger years. I recommend it, it’s an easy read.
