At least Jodie is on the way out. Hopefully she will die in hospital but will Shona be charged with murder? Will we be suffering that until Easter?

They are so lucky and get a single room. I have never been so lucky. I once ended up in the private section, I was an emergency, no NHS beds so I at least had decent food and coffee.

Contrary to previous reports that Jodie's character was on her way out due to behind the scenes issues, Corrie have given her another year.
If she continues in the same way then I might just become an ex-Corrie fan.

Well that all took an unexpected turn!

Apart from the ludicrous storyline, it’s Jodie’s so-called acting that gets me riled.

The eyes darting about all over the place, the mouth pulled into silly shapes, the over made up face…..

And what was she wearing last night? No end of changes of clothes.

Frilly little ‘good housewife’ apron at breakfast, then a slinky lacy evening dress for later.

And all for David, who is hardly a heartthrob.

Hope the rumours about her signing on for another year are untrue.

Good point about the clothes. She arrived in the back of a van, so wouldn't have an enormous suitcase with her, and she doesn't have a lot of money, does she?

I think Corrie needs new scriptwriters. I would try to inject some humour in to it and cut down the story lines.

How utterly ridiculous that Asha was manning the ambulance that came for Jodie.

Thank goodness that Kit has now disclosed his cancer diagnosis with Swain.

Silly me thought Asha was still in training. Normal people would have taken Harper with them as there was no time to find a babysitter.

I agree, Idris is not to be trusted.

Can we not return to "normal" family life there as we don't want a gunfight at the Okay Coral or whatever it was called. Maybe I should move, a GP on tap. Enough money to dine out for several meals each week and nobody is poverty-stricken, working or not.

I am used to larger accommodation but these houses expand.

I was joyous when Jodie was shot and David was going to reveal she had Lisa’s badge etc. then lo and behold Jodie appears to get control of the situation. She is in the process of blackmailing Shona and David. I really can’t stand any more of it. I can’t stand those eyes shifting about and those expressions revealing she has triumphed once again. Been watching since 1960 and seen villains come and go but never one I have disliked so much that I feel I can’t watch much more.

Yes, lucky it was Asha on the Corrie ambulance.

Why get rid of the gun? It was Jodie’s. Surely they should have said what happened, and the gun went off when Shona tried to wrestle it off her.

Lily could confirm all the previous palaver about the other ‘fake’ gun.

And when did David get time to nip off and throw it in the canal? Is the canal at the back of their house?

Last night was the daftest episode yet. And again, it all boils down to nobody ever being able to tell the truth on the Street. FGS, there was so much evidence stacked up against Jodie, that tin box full of madness, the baby crying tape, the recording they’d just made of her trying to seduce David, so many people in the know to back it all up (poor old Doug, Bethany, the random people she met when she claimed to be Shona), a weapon with her fingerprints all over it (now at the bottom of the canal). Why on earth would David and Shona not just say what had happened?

And it’s so obvious that the mad story Lisa’s been told about an unseen mystery assailant won’t stack up. Though knowing Corrie as we do, it probably will.

David never left the house so when he went to dispose of the gun in the canal is a mystery.

Please don't forget Corrie is on tonight, Sunday at 8.30 pm.

Thank goodness Kit has told Bethany about his cancer.
