Bouquet of Barbed Wire from 1976.....

This week I've been watching Bouquet of Barbed Wire, which was very controversial back in 1976, but I could not miss an episode then as I very much liked Susan Penhaligion, a great actress.
So interesting to see how attitude's have changed.
This was made when domestic violence was not a crime.
If anyone else has watched this recently I'd be interested to know their thoughts.

The domestic violence was presented as something almost justifiable, if I remember correctly.

I remember watching it religiously back in the day but have to confess I never really understood it. I wanted to look like Susan Penhaligon!

Yes, Susan Penhaligon and Susan George had the look we admired, along with of course my favourite Hayley Mills.

I always thought Susan George looked a bit toothy! I was envious of her when she went out with George Best though!😅
