Anyone up for a 'Traitors thread'?

Shirleyw Mon 12-Oct-26 02:11:58

Last years was definitely better choice of ‘celebs’ imo but this is watchable.

MarieElla Mon 12-Oct-26 07:05:26

Some peopke don't like being put right...accept the correction and move on. It will help you in real life situation too.
Back to the show.
It's very entertaining.
I like Julie, but her enthusiasm is causing others to suspect her of being a traitor.

NotAGran55 Mon 12-Oct-26 07:33:11

Do keep up MarieElla , Julie was banished on Friday.

Oreo Mon 12-Oct-26 07:47:38

😂
What a fuss about nothing.

Oreo Mon 12-Oct-26 07:49:06

I have a feeling Romesh will be targeted at his hideout in the woods this week 😲

MarieElla Mon 12-Oct-26 08:19:35

Haha!
I've still to watch Fridays..not surprised about Julie going though.
Didn't she play the transgender woman on Corrie some years ago.
Someone uptrread suggested that REG had to pander to Bella and that why I felt the need to contribute to this thread.
Oreo I suggest you spend some time wth enlightened people. You're clearly in need of modernisation!
Age is no excuse.
My FIL is 96 and is more open minded than some on here.

I hope he stays. He'd probably make a good Traitor and it would be interesting to watch because he and Rob are such good pals.

Graphite Mon 12-Oct-26 10:43:41

I also think they will murder Romesh - see my post Saturday 10-Oct-26 13:33.

JenniRen Mon 12-Oct-26 10:57:19

Yes, that would be logical.
A pity, but a good move for the Traitors.

FriedGreenTomatoes2 Mon 12-Oct-26 10:58:43

MarieElla you’re like a dog with a bone on this issue. It’s getting tedious now.
How about chatting re the topic at hand (the programme itself) and start yourself a new thread to educate those who may find your diatribes interesting?

Chestnut Mon 12-Oct-26 10:59:14

Ooh, a bun fight, but I'm not joining in. And I'm not going to mention Bella in case I say something wrong and get called names.

I've watched two non-celeb Traitors and two celeb Traitors and I'm getting bored with it now. I probably won't watch any more, although I do like to see how the celebs come across as themselves.

What annoys me is all the hype. You can't get away from it, all the chat shows, all the media news, they ram it down your throat as if it's the best thing since sliced bread.

JenniRen Mon 12-Oct-26 11:02:08

We've only watched one series previously, the last one with Alan Carr.
He was brilliant, a hard act to follow.

I think this too, he and Rob are a team and the traitors will want to leave one of them without his mate and so feeling more vulnerable. But will miss him.

MarieElla Mon 12-Oct-26 11:14:03

I've made my point FriedGreenTomatoes2, sorry it has upset you.
What's tedious is that some people insist on misgendering people out of ignorance or/and bigotry and need to be called out!
So, yes...back to discussing the programme now.

I think Traitors is great fun and a great watch for all generations.
What I love about it is how quickly some of the contestants become suspicious over the slightest thing and how quicky it escalades as they manage to convince others, only to be dashed during the reveal at the end of the Round Table.

Aveline Mon 12-Oct-26 13:09:19

MarieElla you miss our point and it's very ignorant and uneducated of you not to notice it.
This thread is about Traitors. We are grown ups and don't need someone to try to convince us about pronoun nonsense in this or any other context.

Doodledog Mon 12-Oct-26 13:13:40

I'm not enjoying this one as much as the last 'celeb' one. I think REG spoilt it, however accidentally, although there is time for it to recover. He could have been a good traitor, and he's entertaining to watch.

Fallingstar Mon 12-Oct-26 13:17:44

My first time watching so thinking maybe this one isn’t as good as previous years, Sod’s Law I suppose.
Also without getting sucked into this again, Bella was referred to as ‘she’ on traitors and will be referred to as this am afraid because she looks like a young woman, the fact she is non binary is her own sexual preference and not something other people need to recognise imho, live and let live works both ways. A bit more patience and understanding from those who wish to wear another label wouldn’t go amiss, just as they are asking the same of the rest of us.

Yes, Alan Carr was so good last year, I really wanted him to win and he did 😁

MarieElla

Why?

If I answer that you’ll have to stay on your high horse and I think the poor thing could do with a rest.

😂 I think it’s been ridden hard and put away wet as the saying goes.

GrannyGravy13 Mon 12-Oct-26 13:55:54

Blimey, has it really come to this, we cannot even have a light hearted thread on a TV programme 🤦‍♀️

Aveline Mon 12-Oct-26 13:57:12

Most of us can!

Agreed.

MarieElla Mon 12-Oct-26 14:26:14

kircubbin2000 has still not explained why she thought REG had to pander to Bella....that's not lighthearted, that's grim.
