Supernanny - Where are they now?

I just saw a clip of an old Supernanny episode on YouTube. I used to love it back in the day when my own DC were young.
Anyway, I got to wondering why there have never been any follow-up series, to catch up with what happened to the families. A lot of the original 'problem children' will be parents themselves now. I wonder if the families would be less than keen to take part? I wonder how successful SN's methods were in the long-term? Did she change families' lives for good, or was it a flash in the pan? How do the children and parents remember the visit and was the filming highly edited? I would watch it, would you??

I'm sure she wouldn't have approved all the screen use! She'd hate all that.
I recently read that the Norland nannies college are doing the first degree course for nannies, they are very well paid now.
I'm a college trained nannie myself, not that college though, mine sadly closed down in the 70s!

Yes, I think I read that article. All the graduates of Norland Nannies are guaranteed a VERY well paid job!

I agree GrandmaKT. That would be a very interesting programme. Supernanny is on Instagram and is always worth watching. She hasn't changed much.

I wonder if she has children of her own now?

Didn't she move to the USA?

Aveline

I wonder if she has children of her own now?

Don’t think so. I read an article and she said she had let her hair go grey too. Full of useless information.
