...to create a little quiet corner?

I thought I'd make just a little quiet place to sit and sing 'la la la' inside my head.
It's a special place where no-body gets hold of the wrong end of the stick and no-body feels insulted or marginalised.
La la la........

Gamma please may I use the poem? smile

supernana Thu 24-Nov-11 14:32:49

Gamma A perfect poem. I shall make a copy for our wee man thanks

If you haven't yet bought your Christmas cards, all boxed packs of cards are half price in M&S today.

Gamma I'd like to copy it too. To me it means looking for the 'helicopter' trees during autumn walks, it's playing Pooh Sticks at 'our' bridge and the giggles while we lie in my 'big bed' with the duvet pulled up over our heads - in our tent. It's also the look of admiration 'cos gran has stories in her head and doesn't even need a book!! Thank you for sharing a lovely summary of toddlerhood.

Instead I've typed all this to say, yes, I've been wondering about tosh too.

yogagran Sat 26-Nov-11 17:03:41

That's a bit of a worry isn't it? I think I've only seen her posting once - is all well...??

Ariadne Sat 26-Nov-11 17:04:32

Mmm - she has so much on her plate! Hope you're OK, Tosh?

yogagran Sat 26-Nov-11 17:05:17

ga - I asked for a "like" button way back when GN was new born - nothing yet sad

supernana Sun 27-Nov-11 11:59:10

Tosh sending positive thoughts and good wishes from Kintyre.

Jacey Sun 27-Nov-11 12:06:53

Thank you for that supernana ...assume from a 'private message'?

greenmossgiel Sun 27-Nov-11 12:25:03

Jacey I think supernana is sending her own good wishes to Tosh. Am I right, super? confused

supernana Sun 27-Nov-11 13:16:17

Ooer! What did I do? I meant to send good wishes to Tosh - a mere slip of the finger! Anyway, good wishes to Jacey and greenmossgiel too grin

sshhhh I'm in the quiet corner after a very emotional day........./ hot chocolate for all........

yogagran Sun 27-Nov-11 21:54:29

Any more information than that granto - can we help..??

granto7 Sun 27-Nov-11 22:00:30

hello yoga just feeling very vulnerable lately I seem to be overwhelmed by sad memories of times passed instead of looking forward to happy times to come

yogagran Sun 27-Nov-11 22:11:27

Someone said on another post something like "you can't be cheerful all the time and when you feel a little down you must just give in to it and realise that the feeling will pass and you'll feel better soon". It was said much more eloquently than that and hopefully the original writer will come here and say it again.
We all get bad days occasionally and I really hope that you will feel more positive tomorrow granto thanks

grannyactivist Sun 27-Nov-11 22:15:06

grannyactivist Sun 27-Nov-11 22:42:00

granto7 you can be both strong and in touch with your emotions - there's nothing weak about feeling sad when the occasion warrants. ((((hugs))))

Annobel Sun 27-Nov-11 23:30:09

PM'd Tosh and she is OK. She will be back soon.

grannyactivist Sun 27-Nov-11 23:35:05
